font-size: x-small;">PURPOSE: </span><br /><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">Interested members of the public can voluntarily subscribe to an email update list via <a href="http://www.dhs.gov/" target="_blank">http://www.dhs.gov/</a> and determine which areas of interest they would like to receive updates (i.e., privacy, immigration, border security, etc.). Users engaging the DHS GovDelivery system expect privacy protections while interacting with the Department. Subscribers may create a password to secure their subscription preferences, but it is not required. DHS will only use the email addresses provided by the users to send email messages related to the topics selected by the user in the GovDelivery system.</span></p> <p style="text-align: left;" dir="auto"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">ROUTINE USES: </span><br /><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">The information collected may be disclosed as generally permitted under 5 U.S.C. § 552a(b) of the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended.
