you have ripped out cities for eternity and you have destroyed their memorial.<p> <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-7.htm#aramaic"><b>7</b></a></span>And LORD JEHOVAH endures to eternity and prepares his throne for judgment.<p> <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>For he shall judge the world in truth and the nations in integrity.<p> <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>LORD JEHOVAH shall be a place of refuge for the poor and their helper in times of suffering.<p> <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-10.htm#aramaic"><b>10</b></a></span>And all who know your Name will hope in you, because you do not forsake those who seek you, LORD JEHOVAH.<p> <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-11.htm#aramaic"><b>11</b></a></span>Sing to LORD JEHOVAH who dwells in Zion, and show his skills among the nations.<p> <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-12.htm#aramaic"><b>12</b></a></span>Because he has remembered to require their blood and he does not forget the cry of the poor.<p> <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-13.htm#aramaic"><b>13</b></a></span>Show mercy upon me, LORD JEHOVAH, and see my oppression by him who hates me, my Exalter from the gates of death.<p> <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-14.htm#aramaic"><b>14</b></a></span>Because I shall tell all your wonders in the gates of the daughter of Zion, I shall exult in your salvation.<p> <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-15.htm#aramaic"><b>15</b></a></span>The Gentiles have sunk into the ditch they have made, and their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.<p> <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-16.htm#aramaic"><b>16</b></a></span>LORD JEHOVAH makes known the judgment that he does, and the wicked is caught by the work of his hands.<p> <A name="18"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-17.htm#aramaic"><b>17</b></a></span>The wicked shall turn back to Sheol, and all the peoples that forget God<p> <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-18.htm#aramaic"><b>18</b></a></span>Because he never forgets the poor and you will never destroy the hope of the poor.<p> <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/9-19.htm#aramaic"><b>19</b></a></span>Arise, LORD JEHOVAH, and let not a son of man be strengthened;
