The network scenario is established by considering 1000 X 1000 area and deploying randomly moving nodes using Too l Command Language (TCL). The resource reservation is used to decompos e the total simulation time of network into smaller time slots depending upon number of nodes in the network using TDMA technique. The route is established between Source and Destination node using AODV with QOS and Multi hop routing technique. The ODLW is essentially a succession of on-demand and link-state routing protocols. It was shown that the unique route discovery mechanism of the ODLW outperformed Dynamic Source Routing protocol (DSR) and Optimized Link State Routing Protocol (OLSR) in reducing the end-to-end delay by 80% and 40% respectively as well as the packet drop by 30% and 20% respectively. The main objective of this paper is to enhance the QoS routing for MANET using temporally ordered routing algorithm (TORA) with self-healing and optimized routing techniques (SHORT). SHORT improves routing optimality by monitoring routing paths continuously and redirecting the path whenever a shortcut path is available. In this paper, the performance comparison of TORA and TORA with SHORT has been analyzed using network simulator for various parameters. Its inbuilt unique characteristics like self-organization, frequent topology change, the high mobility of nodes, and resource scarceness make Quality of Service (QoS) routing is an exigent task. Congestion arises in the networks with constrained resources. Unfair distribution of traffic density is one of the reasons of congestion in the network and leads to higher packet losses, additional delay and earlier battery exhaustion on certain nodes. Link breakage due to node mobility and limitation of mobile node's energy are other key factors which make it difficult to design & develop QoS routing in MANET. To overcome these issues, we propose an energy efficient Quality of service (QoS) routing for uninterrupted communication from source to the destination node using Mobile software agent (MSA) paradigm. Software Mobile agents collect and calculate queue length, stability of neighbour nodes, remaining battery power and queuing delay of each node. Finally, the route is calculated based on the estimated parameters. This protocol is highly efficient for balancing load and discovering stable route meeting the delay needs. If the refuge is increased, the QoS of the network decreases. This is cause of the impact of the overload cause due to refuge, which degrades the routine. To overcome this problem, this paper proposes to use three routing protocols like Destination Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) and Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing (AODV) and the routine have been implemented. This paper presents an analysis of refuge and QoS self-optimization which can automatically adapt the network refuge level and QoS with minimum requirements while aiming to provide more than the minimum refuge and QoS. Simulation results show that the routine of DSR is better than DSDV and AODV protocol. A variety of parameters, as characterized by mobility and size of the ad hoc network were simulated. Whereas, wireless Ad-hoc is a self configured network which does not have any fixed or unalterable infrastructure. Additionally, some of the features of Ad-hoc networks are lack of central control, mobility among the hosts, dynamically changeable network topology and finite number of available resources. A lot of services which work on real time e.g. telemedicine, video conferencing are typically configured over the network. These typical examples of real time based applications require robust network to provide guarantee of services to be offered to the receiver. For now, existing QOS routing protocols which assure guaranteed service, requires the concerned router to organize per flow states as well as requires to perform per flow operation. In fact, we have too many ways to enhance and improve the performance aspect of the Ad-hoc network while fully utilizing its features.
