>The Chasing Pavements singer has teamed up with her old friend yet again after previously lending her vocals to My Yvonne on his 2007 debut Matinee. </p> <p >"Adele was in Notting Hill and I just phoned her and said, 'Can you do this song?'," he said. </p> <p >"As always, she came in and killed it. Norman still played a big part in it but Paul helped me re-do the song." </p> <p >The singer retreated to a box studio in Kensal Rise to record the follow up to his 2007 debut. </p> <p >"It is a lot more dance orientated, introspective and emotional as a whole," he added. </p> <p >"The idea was to create dance music for people to cry to. That was the basis me and Paul worked closely together to try and create." </p> <p >The album, which is set for release in June, saw the singer take on a variety of influences including Brazilian soul and blues. </p> <p >"I felt I could create something which no-one has done before which would open up kids' ears. </p> <p >"Tonight's Today, for example, is completely 70s Brazilian soul." </p>  <br
