At the Valencia campus, students may take advantage of performance and experiential learning opportunities, meet top visiting artists, and network with graduate students on campus as well as European music professionals. In the city of Valencia, you will experience the rich culture of the Mediterranean, gain a global perspective, and develop the skills to excel in the international music industry.

The program focuses on fields like music technology, Mediterranean music, Spanish arts and culture, music business, and performance. Yet the curriculum is broad enough to offer students from a wide range of majors the opportunity to progress in their degree programs and meet their graduation requirements. With the right planning, students from most majors and all kinds of artistic backgrounds can study abroad with us.

You don't have to already be a Berklee student to study at Berklee Valencia. Undergraduate students from any accredited institution are welcome to apply for a semester or academic year. Non-Berklee students are encouraged to meet with their study abroad office at their home institutions to discuss the relevant processes of studying off campus. All applicants for study abroad should be in good academic and disciplinary standing at their home institutions. Although you aren't required to be a musician yourself, students seeking to study at Berklee Valencia should have an appreciation for music and a genuine interest in being part of an artistic learning community.

When To Go

Berklee College of Music students should check their major grid or their major department's webpage to determine the best time to go abroad.

Boston Conservatory at Berklee music students may study abroad during the spring semester of their junior or senior year.
