Dr Peruzzi works together with a dedicated support team to provide the best, most timely and compassionate care to patients suffering from neurological disorders, particularly malignant brain tumors. Dr. Peruzzi leads a molecular biology laboratory focused in basic research to find a cure to malignant&nbsp;brain tumors, and is also involved in multiple clinical trials for the treatment of&nbsp;brain tumors at the BWH, including oncolytic virotherapy and the use of novel microdevices to guide personalized chemotherapy to patients with brain cancers.&nbsp; Dr Peruzzi has been continuously supported by NIH funding for his laboratory research since he &nbsp;joined the staff at the Brigham. Neurosurgery</a>. He holds an appointment as an attending clinical <a href="https://www.brighamandwomens.org/neurosurgery">neurosurgeon</a>, as well as a principal investigator in the neuro-oncology research laboratories at the <a href="https://www.brighamandwomens.org/">Brigham and Women’s Hospital.</a></p> <p>Dr Peruzzi works together with a dedicated support team to provide the best, most timely and compassionate care to patients suffering from neurological disorders, particularly <a href="https://www.brighamandwomens.org/neurosurgery/brain-tumor-center">malignant brain tumors.</a></p> <p>Dr. Peruzzi leads a molecular biology laboratory focused in basic research to find a cure to malignant <a href="https://www.brighamandwomens.org/neurosurgery/brain-tumor-center">brain tumors</a>, and is also involved in multiple clinical trials for the treatment of <a href="https://www.brighamandwomens.org/neurosurgery/brain-tumor-center">brain tumors </a>at the BWH, including oncolytic virotherapy and the use of novel microdevices to guide personalized chemotherapy to patients with <a href="https://www.brighamandwomens.org/neurosurgery/brain-tumor-center">brain cancers</a>. </p> <p>Dr Peruzzi has been continuously supported by NIH funding for his laboratory research since he joined the staff at the <a href="https://www.brighamandwomens.org/">Brigham</a>.
