Shall we remain in sin that grace may abound?</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-2.htm"><b>2</b></a></span><span class="spcl">God forbid! For those of us who have died to sin, how shall we live in it again?</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-3.htm"><b>3</b></a></span><span class="spcl">Or do you not know that those of us who were baptized into Yeshua The Messiah were baptized into his death?</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span><span class="spcl">We were buried with him in baptism into death, for as Yeshua The Messiah arose from among the dead in the glory of his Father, in this way also we shall walk in a new life.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For if we have been planted as one with him in the likeness of his death, in this way also we shall be in his resurrection.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For we know that our old person was crucified with him, that the body of sin would be destroyed, that we shall not again serve sin.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For whoever is dead has been freed from sin.</span><p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span><span class="spcl">If therefore we are dead with The Messiah, let us believe that we shall live with The Messiah.*</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For we know that The Messiah arose from the place of the dead and he shall not die again, and death has no authority over him.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For he who died to sin, died one time, and because he lives, he is living to God.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span><span class="spcl">In this way also consider yourselves that you are dead to sin and that you are living to God in Our Lord Yeshua The Messiah.</span><p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span><span class="spcl">Sin shall not therefore reign in your dead body so that you shall obey its desires,</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span><span class="spcl">Neither shall you present your members as weapons of evil for sin, but present yourselves to God as people who are alive from the dead and your members shall be weapons for the righteousness of God.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span><span class="spcl">And sin has no authority over you, for you are not under The Written Law, but under grace.</span><p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span><span class="spcl">What, therefore? Shall we sin because we are not under The Written Law but under grace? God forbid!</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span><span class="spcl">Do you not know, that to whomever you give yourselves up to serve in bondage, his Servants you are, whom you obey, whether you listen* to sin or to righteousness?</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span><span class="spcl">But thank God that you were Servants of sin and you obeyed from the heart that form of the teaching to which you are devoted.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span><span class="spcl">And when you were freed from sin you became Servants to righteousness.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span><span class="spcl">As a fellow man, I say to you because of the weakness of your flesh, that as you presented your members to the servitude of defilement and of evil, so also now present your members to the servitude of righteousness and of holiness.</span><p> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span><span class="spcl">For when you became Servants of sin, you became free from righteousness.</span> <span class="reftext"><a href="/romans/6-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span><span class="spcl">And what fruit did you have then, of which today you are ashamed?
