behold<MG2400>, the Lion<MG3023> that is from the tribe<MG5443> of Judah<MG2455>, the Root<MG4491> of David<MG1160b>, has overcome<MG3528> <i>so as to be able</i> to open<MG455> the scroll<MG975> and its seven<MG2033> seals<MG4973>.” <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/5-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>And I saw<MG3708> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[c]</a></span>between<MG1722, 3319> the throne<MG2362> (with the four<MG5064> living<MG2226> creatures<MG2226>) and the elders<MG4245> a Lamb<MG721b> standing<MG2476>, as if<MG5613> slaughtered<MG4969>, having<MG2192> seven<MG2033> horns<MG2768> and seven<MG2033> eyes<MG3788>, which<MG3739> are <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[d]</a></span>the seven<MG2033> spirits<MG4151> of God<MG2316> sent<MG649> out<MG649> into all<MG3956> the earth<MG1093>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/5-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>And He came<MG2064> and took<MG2983> <i>the scroll</i> out of the right<MG1188> hand<MG1188> of Him who sat<MG2521> on the throne<MG2362>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/5-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>When<MG3753> He had taken<MG2983> the scroll<MG975>, the four<MG5064> living<MG2226> creatures<MG2226> and the twenty-four<MG1501, 5064> elders<MG4245> fell<MG4098> down<MG4098> before<MG1799> the Lamb<MG721b>, each<MG1538> one<MG1538> holding<MG2192> a harp<MG2788> and golden<MG5552> bowls<MG5357> full<MG1073> of incense<MG2368>, which<MG3739> are the prayers<MG4335> of the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[e]</a></span>saints<MG40>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/5-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>And they *sang<MG103> a new<MG2537> song<MG5603>, saying<MG3004>, <p class="tab1stline">“Worthy<MG514> are You to take<MG2983> the scroll<MG975> and to break<MG455> its seals<MG4973>; for You were slaughtered<MG4969>, and You purchased<MG59> <i>people</i> for God<MG2316> with Your blood<MG129> from every<MG3956> tribe<MG5443>, language<MG1100>, people<MG2992>, and nation<MG1484>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/5-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span><p class="tab1">You have made<MG4160> them <i>into</i> a kingdom<MG932> and priests<MG2409> to our God<MG2316>, and they will reign<MG936> upon the earth<MG1093>.” <p class="hdg">Angels Exalt the Lamb</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/5-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>Then<MG2532> I looked<MG3708>, and I heard<MG191> the voices<MG5456> of many<MG4183> angels<MG32a> around<MG2945> the throne<MG2362> and the living<MG2226> creatures<MG2226> and the elders<MG4245>;
