昆明满街的吃真是让人垂涎，街边的小吃、烧烤、环境优雅的室内餐厅都有当地的特色食品。在昆明品尝独特的民族食品，是游客难忘的选择。民族风味菜肴在制作上有烤、腌、冻、焐、舂等多种方法，器皿有石板、香竹、羊皮、卵石等。最值得一提的是，昆明的山珍在全国都很有名，山珍中的野生菌类，更是百吃不厌。不过，昆明菜的口味有点偏咸偏辣，对于四川、湖南那些口味重喜欢吃辣的地方来说算不了什么，而江浙一带口味清淡偏甜的人可能有点不太适应了，入乡随俗吧，否则那么多好吃的东西不能吃，就太遗憾了。总体来说，昆明吃喝较为集中的地方是北边的北大门美食街，西边的兴苑路，也就是在西山区政府大楼旁，另外还有滇池路、关上中路、官南大道、世博大道等。 <BR> 昆明的小吃数不胜数，对游客来说，恐怕敞开肚皮吃，短短的几天里也难以享遍美食，就让我们给你一点小小的提示吧。以下可是各种特色小吃的简略指南哦！西南商业城的炸臭豆腐、师大附中的卤饵丝、西山猫猫沟的农家菜、海埂公路大坝鳝鱼、大滇园的糊辣鱼、牛街庄的烧烤夜市、胖子火锅、关上的野山菌火锅、石闸立交桥下的黄焖羊肉火锅、昆明理工大学新迎校区宿舍门对面马路的沙锅米线……实在是不胜枚举啊！分类来说，大家会有个更清晰的概念。 <BR><STRONG>小吃：</STRONG>西南大厦旁边的小吃一条街 <BR><STRONG>野生菌：</STRONG>关上路野生菌一条街 <BR><STRONG>烧烤：</STRONG>东边的牛街庄烧烤；穿金路官房广场旁边的烧烤摊子；北边的“豆腐厂”；西站客运站附近铁路旁边的建水烧烤；西边还有丰菱小区赵家堆和鱼翅路，再往西就到红联烧烤了。 <BR><STRONG>狗肉：</STRONG>南市区的双龙桥狗肉店，十多家连成一片已有些年月，午夜时分那个热闹自不必说了，最好吃的在梁源小区内的区内的曲靖来的那家，味道特好。再就是老海埂路黄瓜营，那是昆明最老的狗肉摊了，狗肉米线，烤狗排，老远就让人闻着流口水。? <BR><STRONG>夜市集中的地方：</STRONG>景星街花鸟市场附近、滇池电影院、祥云美食城（柏联广场后面、金马碧鸡坊斜对面）、红联烧烤（春苑小区对面）、人民路上的“西南夜市烧烤城”、“幸福鱼”云南风味自助风味小吃（大观商业城内），“清明上河食廊”的自助式风味小吃，尚义街，官渡古镇（离昆明城区5公里）。
