This can affect the availability of fresh water, food security, health, and our wider social and economic infrastructure. As a global leader in climate science, the Met Office provide <a href="/web/20200924060849/https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/services/research-consulting/climate-service/climate-service-uk">weather and climate consultancy and services</a> to respond to a changing climate.</p> <p>Different regions across the UK create varying levels of emissions. The <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20200924060849/https://naei.beis.gov.uk/">National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory (NAEI)</a> contains a <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20200924060849/https://naei.beis.gov.uk/emissionsapp/">map of UK emissions</a>, including greenhouse gases and air pollutants. This is overseen by the Greenhouse Gas Inventory team at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).
