href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/annakatrinashedletsky/" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Anna Shedletsky</a> at <a class="af om" href="http://instrumental.ai" rel="noopener ugc nofollow" target="_blank">Instrumental.ai</a>, we were immediately impressed by Chrissy’s engineering and operational expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and thoughtful approach to building hardware. When it became clear that she wanted to help hardware companies grow, asking her to join Root as a Venture Partner was a no-brainer.</p><p id="a0eb" class="pw-post-body-paragraph no np gu nq b nr ns nt nu nv nw nx ny nz oa ob oc od oe of og oh oi oj ok ol gn bk">Chrissy has over a decade of engineering experience. She began her career as an Engineering Program Manager at Apple, where she spent hundreds of days in Chinese factories and shipped tens of millions of iPods and Apple Watches (she was the third member of the Watch team). Afterwards, she joined Square as an EPM where she rolled out new POS hardware. Chrissy then joined her fellow Apple alumni at Pearl Automation, where she was the Director of Hardware. Chrissy has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford.</p><p id="e213" class="pw-post-body-paragraph no np gu nq b nr ns nt nu nv nw nx ny nz oa ob oc od oe of og oh oi oj ok ol gn bk">The operational expertise that Chrissy brings to Root will allow us to better serve our portfolio of seed hardware and industrial automation companies.
