Franck Ghomsi @ University of Manitoba – Centre for Earth Observation Science presents: Sea Level Variability over the Eastern Tropical Atlantic Franck Ghomsi, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Cape Town and the Centre for Earth Observation Science at the University of Manitoba, as well as a Research Officer at the National Institute of Cartography, Cameroon. He holds doctorates in Oceanography (University of Cape Town) and Geophysics & Geodynamics (University of Yaoundé I). His research focuses on sea-level variability, satellite altimetry, modelling, climate change, ocean dynamics, long-term trends, and their socio-economic and environmental impacts on vulnerable coastal regions. He also specializes in crustal geodynamics, including active volcanic lines and rift systems. Franck serves as an Early Career Scientist (ECS) Representative for the International Association of Geodesy (IAG) and an Early Career Researcher (ECR) Representative for the Inter-Commission Committee on Geodesy for Climate Research. He holds doctorates in Oceanography (University of Cape</span> Town) and Geophysics & Geodynamics (University of Yaoundé I). His research focuses on sea-level variability, satellite altimetry, modelling, climate change, ocean dynamics, long-term trends, and their socio-economic and environmental impacts on vulnerable coastal regions. He also specializes in crustal geodynamics, including active volcanic lines and rift systems. Franck serves as an Early Career Scientist (ECS) Representative for the International Association of Geodesy (IAG) and an Early Career Researcher (ECR) Representative for the <a href="https://iccc.iag-aig.org/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Inter-Commission Committee on Geodesy for Climate Research</a>.
