<A name="5"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>respecting which ye can, <i>by</i> reading, perceive my understanding in the mystery of Christ, <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it was now revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>that the gentiles are fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partners with <i>us</i> of the promise in Christ Jesus through the Gospel; <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God which was given to me according to the working of His power. <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>To me, who am less than the least of all saints, was this grace given, to proclaim, to the gentiles, the glad tidings of the unsearchable riches of Christ; <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>and to plainly show what <i>is</i> the dispensation of the mystery which from the ages has been hidden away in God, Who made all things; <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>in order that now might be made known to the principalities and authorities in the heavenly <i>places</i>, through the assembly, the manifold wisdom of God, <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>according to a purpose of the ages which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord, <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>in Whom we have boldness and access with confidence through the faith of Him. <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>Wherefore, I ask that ye faint not at my tribulations in your behalf, which, indeed, is your glory.<p> <A name="15"></a><p class="hdg">Paul’s Prayer for the Ephesians<p><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>For this cause I bow my knees to the Father, <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>from Whom every family in Heaven and on earth is named, <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit as to the inward man; <A name="18"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span>that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that ye, having been rooted and grounded in love, <A name="19"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>may be strong to apprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth, and length, and height, and depth, <A name="20"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>and to know the knowledge-surpassing love of Christ, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God.<p> <A name="21"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-20.htm"><b>20</b></a></span>Now to Him Who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that is working in us, <span class="reftext"><a href="/ephesians/3-21.htm"><b>21</b></a></span>to Him <i>be</i> the glory in the assembly, and in Christ Jesus, unto all generations of the age of the ages.
