That doesn't bother me so much as seeing him strut around the Capitol playing big government games just like those he said he was going there to shut down. The only way he got into "oil and gas consulting" is through the largesse of folks who are trying to influence the process. They don't want government to pick winners, unless it picks them! The Legislature needs the backbone to end the practice of alowing preferential treatment to well connected insiders. <br/><br/>Lets face it. Texas has the third most regressive tax system in the country so the middle and lower class are subsidizing contracts that go to friends of the powerful. <br/><br/>Pope Francis' Lenten message says we all have a responsibility to stop the abuse to the poor and powerless by decision makers and the wealthy.
