Quantum Technologies, a research center hosted by the University of Otago in collaboration with five other New Zealand universities, is a world leader in quantum optics and atomic physics. Her research focuses on development and implementation of optical diagnostic techniques for atmospheric trace-gas detection. He is a senior scientist at the Universities Space Research Association (USRA) and an adjunct professor at the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Science, University of Maryland, College Park. His research focuses on modeling and satellite-based mapping of carbon emissions to visually inform communities of the local emissions.
