Symmetry-violating effects can lead to time-dependent oscillations of otherwise time-independent observables, including scattering cross sections. An analysis using five years of inclusive neutral-current deep inelastic scattering events corresponding to an integrated HERA luminosity of $372\; \text{pb}^{-1}$ at $\sqrt{s} = 318$ Gev has been performed. No evidence for oscillations in sidereal time has been observed within statistical and systematic uncertainties. Constraints, most for the first time, are placed on 42 coefficients parameterising dominant CPT-even dimension-four and CPT-odd dimension-five spin-independent modifications to the propagation and interaction of light quarks. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('2212.12750v1-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('2212.12750v1-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 24 December, 2022; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> December 2022. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">36 pages, 12 figures. The final stage is presented, a next-to-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) analysis of the HERA data on inclusive deep inelastic $ep$ scattering together with jet data as published by the H1 and ZEUS collaborations. A perturbative QCD fit, simultaneously of $伪_s(M_Z^2)$ and and the PDFs, was performed with the result $伪_s(M_Z^2) = 0.1156 \pm 0.0011~{\rm (exp)}~ ^{+0.0001}_{-0.0002}~ {\rm (model}$ ${\rm +~parameterisation)}~ \pm 0.0029~{\rm (scale)}$. The PDF sets of HERAPDF2.0Jets NNLO were determined with separate fits using two fixed values of $伪_s(M_Z^2)$, $伪_s(M_Z^2)=0.1155$ and $0.118$, since the latter value was already chosen for the published HERAPDF2.0 NNLO analysis based on HERA inclusive DIS data only. The different sets of PDFs are presented, evaluated and compared. The consistency of the PDFs determined with and without the jet data demonstrates the consistency of HERA inclusive and jet-production cross-section data. The inclusion of the jet data reduced the uncertainty on the gluon PDF. Predictions based on the PDFs of HERAPDF2.0Jets NNLO give an excellent description of the jet-production data used as input. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('2112.01120v1-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('2112.01120v1-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 2 December, 2021; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> December 2021. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">43 pages, 24 figures, to be submitted to Eur. Combined measurements of the inclusive deep inelastic cross sections in neutral and charged current $ep$ scattering corresponding to a luminosity of around 1 fb$^{-1}$ have been used in this analysis. A new approach to the beyond the Standard Model analysis of the inclusive $ep$ data is presented; simultaneous fits of parton distribution functions together with contributions of &#34;new physics&#34; processes were performed. Results on the vector and axial-vector couplings of the Z boson to u- and d-type quarks, on the value of the electroweak mixing angle and the mass of the W boson are presented. The values obtained for the electroweak parameters are in agreement with Standard Model predictions. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('1603.09628v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('1603.09628v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 13 May, 2016; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 31 March, 2016; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> March 2016. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">32 pages, 10 figures, accepted by Phys. The combined analysis produces the first observation of the $B^0_s\to渭^+渭^-$ decay, with a statistical significance exceeding six standard deviations, and the best measurement of its branching fraction so far. Furthermore, evidence for the $B^0\to渭^+渭^-$ decay is obtained with a statistical significance of three standard deviations. The branching fraction measurements are statistically compatible with SM predictions and impose stringent constraints on several theories beyond the SM. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('1411.4413v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('1411.4413v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 17 August, 2015; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 17 November, 2014; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> November 2014. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">Correspondence should be addressed to cms-and-lhcb-publication-committees@cern.ch</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> CERN-PH-EP-2014-220, CMS-BPH-13-007, LHCb-PAPER-2014-049 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Nature 522, 68-72 (04 June 2015) </p> </li> <li class="arxiv-result"> <div class="is-marginless"> <p class="list-title is-inline-block"><a href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1405.4140">arXiv:1405.4140</a> <span>&nbsp;[<a href="https://arxiv.org/pdf/1405.4140">pdf</a>, <a href="https://arxiv.org/format/1405.4140">other</a>]&nbsp;</span> </p> <div class="tags is-inline-block"> <span class="tag is-small is-link tooltip is-tooltip-top" data-tooltip="High Energy Physics - Experiment">hep-ex</span> <span class="tag is-small is-grey tooltip is-tooltip-top" data-tooltip="High Energy Physics - Phenomenology">hep-ph</span> </div> <div class="is-inline-block" style="margin-left: 0.5rem"> <div class="tags has-addons"> <span class="tag is-dark is-size-7">doi</span> <span class="tag is-light is-size-7"><a class="" href="https://doi.org/10.1016/j.physletb.2014.06.079">10.1016/j.physletb.2014.06.079 <i class="fa fa-external-link" aria-hidden="true"></i></a></span> </div> </div> </div> <p class="title is-5 mathjax"> Measurement of the CP-violating phase $蠁_s$ in $\overline{B}^0_s\rightarrow J/蠄蟺^+蟺^-$ decays </p> <p class="authors"> <span class="search-hit">Authors:</span> <a href="/search/hep-ph?searchtype=author&amp;query=LHCb+collaboration"> LHCb collaboration</a>, <a href="/search/hep-ph?searchtype=author&amp;query=Aaij%2C+R">R. The invariant mass of the $蟺^+蟺^-$ pair and three decay angular distributions are used to determine the fractions of the resonant and non-resonant components. Six interfering $蟺^+蟺^-$ states: $蟻(770)$, $f_0(500)$, $f_2(1270)$, $蟻(1450)$, $蠅(782)$ and $蟻(1700)$ are required to give a good description of invariant mass spectra and decay angular distributions. The positive and negative CP fractions of each of the resonant final states are determined. The $f_0(980)$ meson is not seen and the upper limit on its presence, compared with the observed $f_0(500)$ rate, is inconsistent with a model of tetraquark substructure for these scalar mesons at the eight standard deviation level. In the $q\overline{q}$ model, the absolute value of the mixing angle between the $f_0(980)$ and the $f_0(500)$ scalar mesons is limited to be less than $17^{\circ}$ at 90% confidence level. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('1404.5673v2-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('1404.5673v2-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 26 June, 2014; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 22 April, 2014; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> April 2014. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">28 pages 14 figures</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> CERN-PH-EP-2014-069, LHCb-PAPER-2014-012 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Phys. Due to the large heavy quark production cross-sections, these data provide unprecedented samples of heavy flavoured hadrons. The first results from LHCb have made a significant impact on the flavour physics landscape and have definitively proved the concept of a dedicated experiment in the forward region at a hadron collider. This document discusses the implications of these first measurements on classes of extensions to the Standard Model, bearing in mind the interplay with the results of searches for on-shell production of new particles at ATLAS and CMS. The physics potential of an upgrade to the LHCb detector, which would allow an order of magnitude more data to be collected, is emphasised. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('1208.3355v3-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('1208.3355v3-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 30 April, 2013; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 16 August, 2012; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> August 2012. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">v2: 180 pages; many figures. Combined with the results from our CP asymmetry measurements in B_s -&gt; J/psi phi decays, we conclude that the B_s mass eigenstate that is almost CP =+1 is lighter and decays faster than the mass eigenstate that is almost CP =-1. This determines the sign of the decay width difference DeltaGamma_s == Gamma_L -Gamma_H to be positive. Our result also resolves the ambiguity in the past measurements of the CP violating phase phi_s to be close to zero rather than pi. These conclusions are in agreement with the Standard Model expectations. <a class="is-size-7" style="white-space: nowrap;" onclick="document.getElementById('1202.4717v4-abstract-full').style.display = 'none'; document.getElementById('1202.4717v4-abstract-short').style.display = 'inline';">&#9651; Less</a> </span> </p> <p class="is-size-7"><span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Submitted</span> 19 July, 2012; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">v1</span> submitted 21 February, 2012; <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">originally announced</span> February 2012. </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Comments:</span> <span class="has-text-grey-dark mathjax">7 pages, 4 figures, published on Physical Review Letters</span> </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Report number:</span> CERN-PH-EP-2012-050; LHCb-PAPER-2011-028 </p> <p class="comments is-size-7"> <span class="has-text-black-bis has-text-weight-semibold">Journal ref:</span> Phys.
