margin-top:18px; margin-right:15px; line-height:14px" class="s1"> <strong>Apresentação</strong><br/><br/> <strong>STAE – Secretariado Técnico de Administração Eleitoral</strong><br/><br/> O Despacho n. 5/2002/PM de 11 de Novembro cria a Comissão Eleitoral Independente, constituída por 8 membros, em regime temporário até a adopção da Lei Eleitoral.<br/><br/> O Secretariado Técnico de Administração Eleitoral (STAE), é criado pelo Decreto do Governo n. 3/2002 de 20 de Setembro que define o STAE como o órgão encarregue da organização e execução dos processos eleitorais e de consulta e apoio em matéria eleitoral, a quem compete especificamente propor medidas para a realização atempada dos actos eleitorais, propor medidas adequadas à participação do cidadão nas eleições, planificar e apoiar tecnicamente a realização das eleições, quer a nível nacional, quer a nível local, assegurar as estatísticas dos actos eleitorais, promovendo a publicação dos respectivos resultados, organizar o registo dos cidadãos eleitos para os órgãos de soberania e para os órgãos locais e ainda, proceder a estudos relevantes à área eleitoral.<br/><br/> O STAE conta com um total de 121 funcionários, 43 na sua Sede em Caicoli, Díli e 78 funcionários nos seus escritórios distritais, em todos os 13 distritos em Timor-Leste.<br/><br/> <strong>Informação Institucional</strong><br/><br/> O Secretariado Técnico da Administração Eleitoral tem as seguintes atribuições:<br/> <ul> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Organizar e apoiar tecnicamente a execução dos processos eleitorais e dos referendos de âmbito nacional e local;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Assegurar o recenseamento eleitoral e receber e decidir as reclamações nesse âmbito apresentadas pelos cidadãos eleitores;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Organizar, manter e gerir a base de dados central do recenseamento eleitoral;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Assegurar a estatística do recenseamento e dos actos eleitorais, publicitando os respectivos resultados;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Manter actualizada e disponibilizar ao público um sistema de informação dos resultados eleitorais;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Organizar o registo dos cidadãos eleitos para os órgãos de soberania, e do poder local;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Difundir informação pública sobre o sistema e os actos eleitorais;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Emitir parecer técnico, a solicitação dos órgãos da administração eleitoral e outros intervenientes e interessados nos processos de recenseamento e eleitorais;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Propor as medidas adequadas à participação dos cidadãos nos processos de recenseamento, eleitorais e referendários;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Proceder a estudos em matéria eleitoral;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Propor e organizar acções de formação para agentes e técnicos locais da administração eleitoral;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Informar e dar parecer sobre matéria eleitoral;<br/> <img src="/web/20100804174859im_/http://www.stae.tl/imgs/1_z1.gif" alt="" border="0"> Cooperar com as administrações eleitorais de outros países e realizar acções de assistência técnica e observação eleitoral. </ul> <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table> </td> <td valign="top" width="10"></td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> <tr> <td valign="top" width="715"> <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0"> <tr> <td valign="top" width="10" height="61"></td> <td valign="top" width="695" height="61"> <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0"> <tr> <td valign="top" width="695" height="49" bgcolor="#E6E5D6"> <div style=" margin-top:20px;
