style="opacity:0">大地を覆う巨大氷河。その環境下で、人々の命を救っているレスキュー隊員達が、アイスランドの各地にいる。彼らは、事故が起こると国からの要請が入り、救助活動に向かう。積雪が2mを超えることもある場所で、負傷者を安全な場所まで送り届けなければならない。そんな使命をもって極寒の極限状態の中でレスキュー隊員達と共に働くランドクルーザーを取材した。今回は特別な許可を得て、年に1度の大規模雪上走行訓練に同行することができた。</span></p></div><div style="opacity:0">早朝からの訓練開始のため、夜間におよそ7時間かけて首都レイキャヴィークから約350km離れた集合場所の山小屋へ向かった。</span></p></div><div class="mb-50 last:mb-0 md:mb-100"><img style="opacity:0">訓練当日は、ダイヤモンドダストが輝くマイナス20°Cの晴天。クルマ50台、雪上車数台、スノーモービル50台、総員190名ほどの隊員たちが全国から集合した。ランドクルーザーとプラドで60%ほど、ハイラックスも含めればおよそ70%はトヨタのSUVが占めている。レスキューのクルマが途中で止まる訳にはいかない。隊員たちも命を預けられるクルマとして絶大な信頼をよせていた。これから1日をかけて雪上走行訓練が行われる。目的地は告げられないまま、訓練がスタートした。</span></p></div><div
