color: #333333; font-family: 宋体; line-height: 20px"> <b></b></td> </tr> </table> <p>  </p> <p align="center"> <img src="/upload/news/images/2019/8/201981141531620.png" /></p> <p>  </p> <p style="text-indent:2em"> 8月1日，首个科学新闻写作机器人——“小柯”正式“上岗”，其创作的首批作品发布于同日上线的科学网小柯机器人频道（<a href="http://paper.sciencenet.cn/AInews/" target="_blank">http://paper.sciencenet.cn/AInews/</a>）。</p> <p style="text-indent:2em"> “小柯”由科学类专业媒体机构中国科学报社联合北京大学高水平科研团队研发而成，旨在帮助科学家以中文方式快速获取全球高水平英文论文发布的最新科研进展。</p> <p style="text-indent:2em"> 据了解，发表经过同行评议的科研论文，是科学界公认的科研成果发布和评价的主要形式，已成为科研活动链条上的核心一环。通过这一方式，可以有效记录科研过程、促进学术交流、厘清科学贡献、追溯科技发展脉络。但是，高水平论文大部分以英文发表，而我国科学家因语言和文化背景不同，再加上论文数量庞大，如何快速精准地获取自己所需的相关科研进展，一直是摆在一线科研人员面前的难题。</p> <p style="text-indent:2em"> 如今，“小柯”有望成为一线科研人员的“跨语种学术信息秘书”，帮助他们高效解决上述难题。</p> <p style="text-indent:2em"> 本项目所遴选的论文全部来源于国际公认的高水平学术期刊。其中，项目一期首批科学新闻来自生命科学、医学领域的知名期刊，包括《自然》《科学》《细胞》《新英格兰医学杂志》等。预计项目第二期将扩展到生命科学领域其他知名期刊；第三期将扩展到其他研究领域，并计划囊括国际会议、专利等。</p> <p style="text-indent:2em"> 中国科学报社副总编辑、项目负责人张明伟认为，该项目在助推科技创新和科学普及方面具有开创性意义。“小柯”机器人利用先进的机器算法语言，以英文论文摘要作为基础，快速“写出”中文科学新闻底稿，再经过专业人士和中国科学报社编辑的双重人工审校和信息补充，很大程度上能够满足我国一线科研人员快速了解主流英文期刊资讯的需求。同时，利用“机器人写作”技术将科研论文转化为公开的科学报道，也为公众和其他大众媒体提供了一扇了解最新科学进展的窗口，对促进科学普及工作大有裨益。</p> <p style="text-indent:2em"> 北京大学计算机科学技术研究所万小军团队长期从事文本自动摘要与机器人写作方面的研究工作，是本领域的知名科研团队，在该项目中负责“小柯”机器人系统总体设计与联合技术攻关。万小军表示，“小柯”是业界首个面向跨语言科学新闻生成的写作机器人，采用了原创与二次创作相结合的混合创作方式生成科学新闻，其创新之处在于通过融合领域知识进行语句智能筛选，从而选择适合大众理解的语句；同时，基于语句简化提升语句翻译质量，克服了当前学术文献领域机器翻译效果差的问题。</p> <p style="text-indent:2em"> 张明伟表示，将人工智能技术运用到科学新闻写作是一个全新领域，存在许多难点。项目前期进行了大胆探索和尝试，克服了诸多难点，取得了积极效果。但可以预料，后续仍会碰到很多新问题，项目组将收集科研人员与公众的意见和建议，做好后续改进、开发和服务工作。</p> <p style="text-indent:2em"> 据介绍，“小柯”机器人是“全球华人科学家社会化智能网络学术交流平台”建设项目的一个子项目。该平台建设项目依托科学网，利用互联网、新媒体、人工智能技术，力争打造快捷、方便、智能的学术交流平台。项目得到了北京市海淀区文化发展专项资金的大力支持。</p> <div style="border-bottom: solid 1px #bfc89d;
