And she herself<MH1931> said<MH559>, ‘He is my brother<MH251>.’ In the integrity<MH8537> of my heart<MH3824> and the innocence<MH5356> of my <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[e]</a></span>hands<MH3709> I have done<MH6213a> this<MH2088>.” <span class="reftext"><a href="/genesis/20-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>Then God<MH430> said<MH559> to him in the dream<MH2472>, “Yes<MH1571>, I know<MH3045> that in the integrity<MH8537> of your heart<MH3824> you have done<MH6213a> this<MH2088>, and I also<MH1571> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[f]</a></span>kept<MH2820> you from sinning<MH2398> against Me; therefore<MH5921, 3651> I did not let<MH5414> you touch<MH5060> her. <span class="reftext"><a href="/genesis/20-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>Now<MH6258> then, return<MH7725> the man’s<MH376> wife<MH802>, for he is a prophet<MH5030>, and he will pray<MH6419> for you and you will live<MH2421a>. But if<MH518> you do not return<MH7725> <i>her,</i> know<MH3045> that you will certainly<MH4191> die<MH4191>, you and all<MH3605> who<MH834> are yours.” <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/genesis/20-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>So Abimelech<MH40> got<MH7925> up<MH7925> early<MH7925> in the morning<MH1242> and called<MH7121> all<MH3605> his servants<MH5650>, and told<MH1696> all<MH3605> these<MH428> things<MH1697> in their <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[g]</a></span>presence<MH241>; and the people<MH376> were<MH3372a> greatly<MH3966> frightened<MH3372a>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/genesis/20-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>Then Abimelech<MH40> called<MH7121> Abraham<MH85> and said<MH559> to him, “What<MH4100> have you done<MH6213a> to us? And <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[h]</a></span>how<MH4100> have I sinned<MH2398> against you, that you have brought<MH935> on me and on my kingdom<MH4467> a great<MH1419> sin<MH2401>?
