The mighty warrior embodies every battle-hardened ideal of the Empire of Noxus, the region that made its presence known with the appearance of Ambessa Medarda (<strong>Ellen Thomas</strong>), mother of Mel Medarda (<strong>Toks Olagundoye</strong>) and Noxian warlord, near the end of season one. The Medardas serve as one of <em>Arcane</em>’s references to the many cities and regions outside Piltover and Zaun.</p> <p>Darius reaches great military and political heights as a Noxian soldier and leader, but <em>Arcane</em>’s second season could introduce new fans to the rugged Hand of Noxus by portraying Darius’ rise to power. Fans of the show might have already encountered Ziggs in the spinoff game ‘Hextech Mayhem’, a platformer and rhythm game that was <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20220507082034/https://collider.com/league-of-legends-hextech-mayhem-netflix-games/">recently added to Netflix’s gaming service</a>.</p>  <p>Ziggs is a Yordle, a race of spirits best represented in <em>Arcane</em> by the scientist Heimerdinger, voiced by <strong>Mick Wingert</strong>. Sharing the councilor’s talent for invention, his chaotic, hyperactive nature was considered abnormal for his species, as was his proclivity for explosives. Take one look at Riven the exile’s runic blade and fans of <em>Arcane</em>’s visuals can already picture the gorgeous displays of swordplay that would threaten to top even the most impressive, action scenes of season one.</p> <p>Like Vi and Jinx, Riven is a war orphan whose might was forged in the fire of hardship.
