Für das Experiment stehen etwa 4 Stunden zur Verfügung.</p><p>Am Beginn des Versuches prüft der/die Betreuer/in durch einige Fragen, ob Sie ausreichend vorbereitet ist. Bei ungenügender Vorbereitung oder unentschuldigtem Zuspätkommen können Sie&nbsp; von der Versuchsdurchführung ausgeschlossen werden. Sie müssen den entsprechenden Versuch dann an einem Ersatztermin durchführen.</p><p>Anschließend ist als Hausarbeit eine schriftliche Ausarbeitung zu verfassen, die zu Beginn des nächsten Praktikumstages abgegeben werden muss. Diese wird von dem/der Betreuer/in korrigiert.<br> Achtung: Falls die Ausarbeitung nicht zu Beginn des nächsten Versuchs abgegeben wird, gilt der Versuch als nicht bestanden und muss wiederholt werden! Es entspricht der Masse bei einer geradlinigen Bewegung. Nach dem Einjustieren des Interferometers wird zunächst die Ganghöhe der Verstellschraube der Spiegelverstellung, indem die Zahl der auftretenden Interferenzmaxima (ider -minima) pro Schraubenumdrehung gemessen wird. Dann wird der Brechungsindex einer planparallelen Plexiglasscheibe über die Zal der Maxima beim Verdrehen der Scheibe bestimmt. Im letzten Versuchsteil wird der Brechungsindex von Luft bestimmt.
