His grandson, <a href="/wiki/Matthew_Barzun" title="Matthew Barzun">Matthew Barzun</a>, is a businessman who served from 2009 to 2011 as the <a href="/wiki/United_States_Ambassador_to_Sweden" class="mw-redirect" title="United States Ambassador to Sweden">U.S. Ambassador to Sweden</a>, and from 2013 to 2017 as <a href="/wiki/United_States_Ambassador_to_the_United_Kingdom" class="mw-redirect" title="United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom">Ambassador to the United Kingdom</a>.
