Also included below are the 1987 inductees from the final year of the Kirby Awards (named for Jack <a href="/entry/kirby_jack">Kirby</a>) before these were formally split into the Eisner Awards and Harvey Awards. From 1999 onward there have been two categories of Hall of Fame winner: those chosen by a panel of expert judges and those chosen by popular vote.
