He then fell silent, though he has more recently published two <a href="/entry/tie">Ties</a>: <i>Event Horizon</i> (<b>1997</b>), novelizing the film <a href="/entry/event_horizon">Event Horizon</a> (<i>1997</i>); and <i>Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda: Waystation</i> (<b>2004</b>), based on the <a href="/entry/television">Television</a> series.
