The state-owned rifle factory had some 1,000 employees at the beginning of the 18th century. The company was spun off from <a href="/wiki/Husqvarna_Vapenfabriks_Aktiebolag" class="mw-redirect" title="Husqvarna Vapenfabriks Aktiebolag">Husqvarna Vapenfabriks Aktiebolag</a> in 1959.
