look<MH2372> at all<MH3605> this. <t><p class="indent1">And you, will you not declare<MH5046> it? <t><p class="indent1">I proclaim<MH8085> to you new<MH2319> things<MH2319> from this<MH6258> time<MH6258>, <t><p class="indent1">Hidden<MH5341> things<MH5341> which you have not known<MH3045>. <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/48-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>“They are created<MH1254a> now<MH6258> and not long<MH3975b> ago<MH3975b>; <t><p class="indent1">For how<MH349> can <i>My name</i> be profaned<MH2490c>? <t><p class="indent1">And I will not give<MH5414> My glory<MH3519b> to another<MH312>. <p class="hdg">Rescue Promised</p><poetry><p class="paragraph"><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/48-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>“Listen<MH8085> to Me, Jacob<MH3290>, Israel<MH3478> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[e]</a></span>whom I called<MH7121>; <t><p class="indent1">I am He, I am the first<MH7223>, I am also<MH637> the last<MH314>. <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/48-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>“Assuredly<MH637> My hand<MH3027> founded<MH3245> the earth<MH776>, <t><p class="indent1">And My right<MH3225> hand<MH3225> spread<MH2946> out<MH2946> the heavens<MH8064>; he will carry<MH6213a> out<MH6213a> His good<MH2656> pleasure<MH2656> against Babylon<MH894>, <t><p class="indent1">And His arm<MH2220> <i>will be against</i> the Chaldeans<MH3778>. <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/48-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>“I, <i>yes</i> I, have spoken<MH1696>; indeed<MH637> I have called<MH7121> him, <t><p class="indent1">I have brought<MH935> him, and He will make<MH6743b> his ways<MH1870> successful<MH6743b>. <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/48-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>“Come<MH7126> near<MH7126> to Me, listen<MH8085> to this<MH2088>: <p class="indent1stline">From the beginning<MH7218> I have not spoken<MH1696> in secret<MH5643a>, <t><p class="indent1">From the time<MH6256> it took<MH1961> place<MH1961>, I was there<MH8033>. <t><p class="indent1">And now<MH6258> the Lord<MH136> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[f]</a></span>GOD<MH3068> has sent<MH7971> Me, and His Spirit<MH7307>.” <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/48-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span>This<MH3541> is<MH3541> what<MH3541> the LORD<MH3068> says<MH559>, <i>He who is</i> your Redeemer<MH1350>, the Holy<MH6918> One<MH6918> of Israel<MH3478>: <p class="indent1stline">“I am the LORD<MH3068> your God<MH430>, who teaches<MH3925> you to benefit<MH3276>, <t><p class="indent1">Who leads<MH1869> you in the way<MH1870> you should go<MH1980>. <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/48-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>“If<MH3863> only<MH3863> you had paid<MH7181> attention<MH7181> to My commandments<MH4687>! <t><p class="indent1">Then your <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[g]</a></span>well-being<MH7965> would have been<MH1961> like a river<MH5104>, <t><p class="indent1">And your righteousness<MH6666> like the waves<MH1530> of the sea<MH3220>. <poetry><p class="indent1"><span class="reftext"><a href="/isaiah/48-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>“Your <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[h]</a></span>descendants<MH2233> would have been<MH1961> like the sand<MH2344>, <t><p class="indent1">And <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[i]</a></span>your offspring<MH6631, 4578> like its grains<MH4579>;
