Gadget & The Gadgetinis will receive its UK-TV premiere on Channel 5 in August 2002 and will launch on M6 in France in September 2002.</p><p>SCP owns the merchandising rights across all key licensed goods categories, including toys, home entertainment, interactive video games and promotions. A video will be released through Buena Vista Home Entertainment (BVHE) in Italy, France and the UK in December 2002.</p><p>The series features the adventures of the popular cartoon character ‘Inspector Gadget’ together with his two robotic aides; ‘Fidget’ and ‘Digit’, known as ‘The Gadgetinis’. Created in 1982, the original Inspector Gadget series has scored consistently high ratings on major U.S. networks and European broadcast outlets and continues to attract large audiences from around the world.</p><p>Jean-Philippe Randisi, Managing Director, Saban Consumer Products Europe, says: “Gadget has remained one of the most enduring and popular cartoon characters with boys and girls for nearly 20 years and has a great heritage.
