But I’d be even more elated if the good Bishop would don appropriate ball-gown bishoppy robes.<span id="more-6399"></span></p> <p>Given that most of his rival Bishops are deservedly in prison, as with the Catholics, or in disgrace and thus given the boot as with the fast-fading Anglicans in Britain, at least Bishop Tamaki doesn’t offend.</p> <p>However, if His Grace is to increase his flock numbers, he needs to go on the front foot with some new initiatives.</p> <p>His church appears to attract solely maoris and as we know they’re suckers for uniforms. But now the government has banned gang patches, these sadly pathetic losers will be lost for a cause. So there’s a market to exploit. His Grace, Bishop Tamaki, in full bishop regalia will be like a magnet for these lost souls.</p> <p>The other step he must take is to demonstrate humility while adding more grandeur to his Destiny Church and appoint an Archbishop.</p> <p>I’ve always wanted to taste every experience so now in my twilight years I’d be happy to give it a lash and fill that vacancy for a year.</p> <p>I’d then readily step down and allow His Grace to take over, thus creating a vacancy for his current Bishopric role.
