This will serve as the primary platform for updates and information related to the congress. The congress is organised jointly by the <em>Digital Edition of the Coptic Old Testament</em> project at the <a href="https://adw-goe.de/">Göttingen Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Lower Saxony</a> and the <a href="https://uni-goettingen.de/de/321451.html">Institute for Egyptology and Coptic Studies</a> at the University of Göttingen, under the patronage and in close cooperation with the <a href="https://iacs-coptic.org/">International Association of Coptic Studies (IACS)</a>.</p> <p>In addition, the First Circular has now been published. This document provides general information on the congress venue and invites prospective participants to propose panel sessions and discussion topics. We encourage colleagues at this point to plan and submit their suggestions (<a href="mailto:coptic-congress-2026@uni-goettingen.de?subject=Coptic%20Congress%202026">coptic-congress-2026@uni-goettingen.de</a>).
