The Scriptures provide numerous examples and teachings that underscore the significance of trust in the life of a believer.<br><br><b>Trust in God</b><br><br>The Bible consistently calls believers to place their trust in God, who is depicted as faithful, sovereign, and loving. <a href="/proverbs/3-5.htm">Proverbs 3:5-6</a> exhorts, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." This passage highlights the necessity of relying on God's wisdom rather than human understanding, promising divine guidance as a result of such trust.<br><br>The Psalms frequently express trust in God amidst adversity. <a href="/psalms/56-3.htm">Psalm 56:3-4</a> states, "When I am afraid, I put my trust in You. Trust in the LORD forever, because GOD the LORD is the Rock eternal."
