week-long event with debates and exhibitions about foundations and how they work for Europe, organised by the <strong>European Foundation Centre</strong>. Foundations and funders, the EU institutions, other civil society actors, and the general public are all welcome!  The European Cultural Foundation will be sharing many inspiring artistic and cultural contributions which challenge opinions about the EU construct.</p><p class="yz87w0odxciwb6750"> </p><p class="yz87w0odxciwb6750">We will be particpating in the <strong>Interactive Fair</strong>, giving everybody the opportunity to discover what foundations are doing.  In particular we will be supporting the Dialogue Audition, this is a performance act by visual artist Filip Berte, which will result in an interactive film to be edited at the end of Foundation Week. The Dialogue Audition aims at questioning and bridging the existing communication gap between EU institutions and EU citizens. Get your portrait taken by the artist while you speak your mind.</p><p class="yz87w0odxciwb6750"> </p><p class="yz87w0odxciwb6750">Not only are there foundations participating in this event, EU policy and decision makers, NGOs, Think tanks, the general public and more will be there. The <strong>Foundation Week Open Days</strong> will showcase the work of foundations and offer free admission to a variety of debates on issues that affect the lives of citizens across Europe and globally. These debates range from Climate debate to Inspiring entrepreneurship in Europe.</p><p class="yz87w0odxciwb6750"> </p><p class="yz87w0odxciwb6750">The emphasis of this year’s event is to engage in a conversation with the EU on issues of mutual concern.
