they will be caught in the mind set which they have contrived.<p> <A name="4"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-3.htm#aramaic"><b>3</b></a></span>Because the wicked boasts in the lusts of his soul, the evil one is blessed and LORD JEHOVAH is angry.<p> <A name="5"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-4.htm#aramaic"><b>4</b></a></span>And the wicked in his pride does not make inquiry and there is no God in all his thoughts.<p> <A name="6"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-5.htm#aramaic"><b>5</b></a></span>And his ways are dissolute always, and your judgment enters against him, and he despises all his enemies.<p> <A name="7"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-6.htm#aramaic"><b>6</b></a></span>He has said in his heart, "I shall not move for a generation of generations"; he thinks upon evil.<p> <A name="8"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-7.htm#aramaic"><b>7</b></a></span>And a curse fills his mouth, fraud and deceit are under his tongue, evil and depravity.<p> <A name="9"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-8.htm#aramaic"><b>8</b></a></span>He sits in ambush in a dwelling and in a secret place he murders the righteous; his eyes gaze upon the afflicted one.<p> <A name="10"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-9.htm#aramaic"><b>9</b></a></span>And he lies in wait to plunder the poor in the snare of his net.<p> <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-10.htm#aramaic"><b>10</b></a></span>He will be humbled and fall and in his bones is sickness and pain.<p> <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-11.htm#aramaic"><b>11</b></a></span>He said in his heart, "God forgets and turns his face and will never see.”<p> <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-12.htm#aramaic"><b>12</b></a></span>Arise, LORD JEHOVAH, my God, and lift your hand and do not forget the afflicted one.<p> <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-13.htm#aramaic"><b>13</b></a></span>Why does the sinner anger God and say his heart, "You will not require it"?<p> <A name="15"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-14.htm#aramaic"><b>14</b></a></span>You see that there is evil and wrath and behold, he will be given over into your hands; the afflicted one will be left to you, and you are the helper of the orphan.<p> <A name="16"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-15.htm#aramaic"><b>15</b></a></span>Shatter the arm of the sinner and of the evil; you shall seek his sin and it shall not be found.<p> <A name="17"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/psalms/10-16.htm#aramaic"><b>16</b></a></span>LORD JEHOVAH is King to the eternity of eternities;
