The route is served three times a week by an Airbus A350 - one of the most modern and fuel-efficient aircraft in the world.</p><p>The flights between the two cities depart from Munich on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11:45 a.m. and land in São Paulo at 8:15 p.m. The return flight from São Paulo to Munich then takes place on the same day at 10:05 p.m. (local time) with arrival in Munich the next afternoon at 1:40 p.m. All flight times are arranged so that passengers can easily reach connecting flights from or to São Paulo.</p><p>The new connection further strengthens the economic and cultural ties between Germany and Brazil. For Munich in particular, Brazil is now the fifth most important overseas tourist market.
