Bändin maalailevat kappaleet ovat jäsenten omia sävellyksiä. Esiintymisasut taas kuin fantasiaelokuvista.</p> <p>Kappaleiden pääasiallinen säveltäjä <strong>Jonsu Salomaa</strong> oli aloittanut omien biisien tekemisen jo kuusivuotiaana. Hän tapasi Indican basistin <strong>Heini Säisän</strong> alle kouluikäisenä yhteisen jousisoitinharrastuksen kautta.</p><p>Kosketinsoittaja <strong>Sirkku Karvoseen</strong> Jonsu oli tutustunut kasarisuosikki Dingon comeback-keikalla teini-ikäisenä. Albumi myi Suomessa platinaa ja levyltä napattiin neljä sinkkubiisiä. <em>Ikuinen virta</em> -nimikappale sekä <em>Scarlett</em> tuotettiin myös musiikkivideoiksi.</p><p>Indica treenasi, levytti ja esitti pääasiassa omia kappaleitaan. Syvänsinistä kuvaava termi sopi Jonsun mukaan bändin musiikiin, jota hän itse kuvaili melankoliseksi ja mollivoittoiseksi. Termiin lisättiin vielä feminiininen a-pääte ja Indica oli valmis.</p><h2 class="ydd-heading-large">Miltä näyttää tyttöbändin treenikämppä?</h2><p>Indica nousi soittolistoille aikana, jolloin yhtyeet satsasivat näyttävyyteen. Esimerkiksi meikkaamisesta oli jälleen tullut valtavirtamuotia miesrokkareidenkin keskuudessa.</p><p>Indica ei jäänyt pekkaa pahemmaksi.
