Add enough information to your ORCID record to distinguish you.</p> <p>2. Use the available wizards to import your existing works (through Scopus or ResearcherID for example) or awarded grants.</p> <ul> <li>Using these wizards has the added advantage of letting you establish these organizations as <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20160927112022/http://support.orcid.org/knowledgebase/articles/131598-trusted-parties">Trusted Parties</a>. You can then authorize them to automatically update your ORCID profile with information about new publications in the future, thus making it easier to keep your publications list up-to-date.</li> </ul> <p>3. For each part of your ORCID profile you have the option of making the information public, keeping it private, or allowing limited access (organizations that you authorize as Trusted Parties can see this information).
