Technology advancements have enabled the development of it to do many excellent jobs as reconnaissance, surveillance, battle fighters, and communications relays. Simulating a small unmanned aerial vehicle (SUAV) dynamics and analyzing its behavior at the preflight stage is too important and more efficient. The first step in the UAV design is the mathematical modeling of the nonlinear equations of motion. In this paper, a survey with a standard method to obtain the full non-linear equations of motion is utilized, and then the linearization of the equations according to a steady state flight condition (trimming) is derived. This modeling technique is applied to an Ultrastick-25e fixed wing UAV to obtain the valued linear longitudinal and lateral models. At the end, the model is checked by matching between the behavior of the states of the non-linear UAV and the resulted linear model with doublet at the control surfaces. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=UAV" title="UAV">UAV</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=equations%20of%20motion" title=" equations of motion"> equations of motion</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=modeling" title=" modeling"> modeling</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=linearization" title=" linearization"> linearization</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/23317/modeling-of-a-small-unmanned-aerial-vehicle" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/23317.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">742</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1637</span> Fructooligosaccharide Prebiotics: Optimization of Different Cultivation Parameters on Their Microbial Production</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Elsayed%20Ahmed%20Elsayed">Elsayed Ahmed Elsayed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Azza%20Noor%20El-Deen"> Azza Noor El-Deen</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohamed%20A.%20Farid"> Mohamed A. Among the new commercially available products, fructooligosaccharides (FOS), which are microbial produced from sucrose, have attracted special interest due to their valuable properties and, thus, have a great economic potential for the sugar industrial branch. They are non-cariogenic sweeteners of low caloric value, as they are not hydrolyzed by the gastro-intestinal enzymes, promoting selectively the growth of the bifidobacteria in the colon, helping to eliminate the harmful microbial species to human and animal health and preventing colon cancer. FOS has been also found to reduce cholesterol, phospholipids and triglyceride levels in blood. FOS has been mainly produced by microbial fructosyltransferase (FTase) enzymes. The present work outlines bioprocess optimization for different cultivation parameters affecting the production of FTase by Penicillium aurantiogriseum AUMC 5605. The optimization involves both traditional as well as fractional factorial design approaches. Additionally, the production process will be compared under batch and fed-batch conditions. Finally, the optimized process conditions will be applied to 5-L stirred tank bioreactor cultivations. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=prebiotics" title="prebiotics">prebiotics</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fructooligosaccharides" title=" fructooligosaccharides"> fructooligosaccharides</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=optimization" title=" optimization"> optimization</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=cultivation" title=" cultivation"> cultivation</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/3181/fructooligosaccharide-prebiotics-optimization-of-different-cultivation-parameters-on-their-microbial-production" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/3181.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">387</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1636</span> Rainfall-Runoff Forecasting Utilizing Genetic Programming Technique</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Najah%20Ahmed%20Al-Mahfoodh">Ahmed Najah Ahmed Al-Mahfoodh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ali%20Najah%20Ahmed%20%20Al-Mahfoodh"> Ali Najah Ahmed Al-Mahfoodh</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Al-Shafie"> Ahmed Al-Shafie</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> In this study, genetic programming (GP) technique has been investigated in prediction of set of rainfall-runoff data. To assess the effect of input parameters on the model, the sensitivity analysis was adopted. To evaluate the performance of the proposed model, three statistical indexes were used, namely; Correlation Coefficient (CC), Mean Square Error (MSE) and Correlation of Efficiency (CE). The principle aim of this study is to develop a computationally efficient and robust approach for predict of rainfall-runoff which could reduce the cost and labour for measuring these parameters. Park and ride will encourage the owners of the vehicles to leave their cars in the nearest points (on the edges of the crowded cities) and use public transportation facilities (train, bus, metro, or mon-rail) to reach their work inside the crowded city. The proposed control scheme is used to design electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) to charge 1000 electric vehicles (EV) during their owners' work time. Cairo, Egypt is used as a case study. Photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) are used to meet the EVCS demand. Two multi-objective optimization techniques (MOGA and epsilon-MOGA) are utilized to get the optimal sizes of PV and BESS so as to meet the load demand and minimize the total life cycle cost. Detailed analysis and comparison are held to investigate the performance of the proposed control scheme using MATLAB. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Battery%20%20Energy%20Storage%20System" title="Battery Energy Storage System">Battery Energy Storage System</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Electric%20Vehicle" title=" Electric Vehicle"> Electric Vehicle</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Park%20and%20Ride" title=" Park and Ride"> Park and Ride</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Photovoltaic" title=" Photovoltaic"> Photovoltaic</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Multi-objective" title=" Multi-objective"> Multi-objective</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/123793/a-novel-multi-objective-park-and-ride-control-scheme-using-renewable-energy-sources-cairo-case-study" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/123793.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">144</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1633</span> Evaluation of in vitro Inhibitory Effect of Enoxacin on Babesia and Theileria Parasites</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mosaab%20A.%20Omar">Mosaab A. Also, it has been shown recently that it may have cancer inhibiting effect. The primary antibabesial effect of Enoxacin is due to inhibition of DNA gyrase subunit A, and DNA topoisomerase. In the present study, enoxacin was tested as a potent inhibitor against the in vitro growth of bovine and equine Piroplasms. The in vitro growth of five Babesia species that were tested was significantly inhibited (P<0.05) by micromolar concentrations of enoxacin (IC50 values= 13.5, 7.2, 7.5, and 24.2 µM for Babesia bovis, Babesia bigemina, Babesia caballi, and Theileria equi, respectively). Enoxacin IC50 values for Babesia and Theileria parasites were satisfactory as the drug is a potent antibacterial drug with minimum side effects. Therefore, enoxacin might be used for the treatment of Babesiosis and Theileriosis especially in case of mixed infections with bacterial diseases or in the case of animal sensitivity against diminazin toxicity. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=enoxacin" title="enoxacin">enoxacin</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Babesia" title=" Babesia"> Babesia</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Theileria" title=" Theileria"> Theileria</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=IC50%20and%20dimenazin" title=" IC50 and dimenazin"> IC50 and dimenazin</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/24342/evaluation-of-in-vitro-inhibitory-effect-of-enoxacin-on-babesia-and-theileria-parasites" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/24342.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">468</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1632</span> CAG Repeat Polymorphism of Androgen Receptor and Female Sexual Functions in Egyptian Female Population</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Azza%20Gaber%20Farag">Azza Gaber Farag</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Yasser%20Atta%20Shehata"> Yasser Atta Shehata</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sara%20Elsayed%20Elghazouly"> Sara Elsayed Elghazouly</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mustafa%20Elsayed%20Elshaib"> Mustafa Elsayed Elshaib</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Nesreen%20Gamal%20Elden%20Elhelbawy"> Nesreen Gamal Elden Elhelbawy</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Background: Androgen receptor (AR) polymorphism in cytosine adenineguanine (CAG) repeat has an effect on the functional capacity of AR in males. However, little researches in this field are available regarding female sexual function. Aim: To investigate the possible link between polymorphism in the CAG repeat of AR gene and female sexual function in a sample of the Egyptian population. Materials and methods: 500 Egyptian married females completed a questionnaire regarding sociodemographic, reproductive, and sexual data. AR CAG repeat length was analyzed for those having female sexual dysfunctions (FSD) using real-time PCR. Results: The most sensitive domain to AR CAG repeat length was the orgasm domain that showed significant positive correlations with short allele (p=0.001), long allele (p=.015), biallellic mean (p=.000), and X weighted biallelic mean (p=.000). The satisfaction domain had significant positive correlations with the biallelic mean (p=.035), and the X weighted biallelic mean (p=. 032). However, the pain domain was of significant negative correlations with AR polymorphism of short allele (p=.002), biallelic mean (p=.013), and X weighted biallelic mean (p = . 011). Conclusions: AR polymorphism could represent a non-negligible aspect in female sexual function. The lower AR CAG repeat polymorphism was of significant impact on FSD, affecting mainly female orgasm followed by pain disorders that finally reflected On her sexual satisfaction. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=female%20sexual%20dysfunction" title="female sexual dysfunction">female sexual dysfunction</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=androgen%20receptor" title=" androgen receptor"> androgen receptor</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=CAG%20repeat%20polymorphism" title=" CAG repeat polymorphism"> CAG repeat polymorphism</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=androgen" title=" androgen"> androgen</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/142676/cag-repeat-polymorphism-of-androgen-receptor-and-female-sexual-functions-in-egyptian-female-population" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/142676.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">182</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1631</span> Partially-Averaged Navier-Stokes for Computations of Flow Around Three-Dimensional Ahmed Bodies</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Maryam%20Mirzaei">Maryam Mirzaei</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sinisa%20Krajnovic%C2%B4"> Sinisa Krajnovic´ </a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> The paper reports a study about the prediction of flows around simplified vehicles using Partially-Averaged Navier-Stokes (PANS). Numerical simulations are performed for two simplified vehicles: A slanted-back Ahmed body at Re=30 000 and a square back Ahmed body at Re=300 000. A comparison of the resolved and modeled physical flow scales is made with corresponding LES and experimental data for a better understanding of the performance of the PANS model. The PANS model is compared for coarse and fine grid resolutions and it is indicated that even a coarse-grid PANS simulation is able to produce fairly close flow predictions to those from a well-resolved LES simulation. The results indicate the possibility of improvement of the predictions by employing a finer grid resolution. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=partially-averaged%20Navier-Stokes" title="partially-averaged Navier-Stokes">partially-averaged Navier-Stokes</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=large%20eddy%20simulation" title=" large eddy simulation"> large eddy simulation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=PANS" title=" PANS"> PANS</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=LES" title=" LES"> LES</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20body" title=" Ahmed body"> Ahmed body</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/17810/partially-averaged-navier-stokes-for-computations-of-flow-around-three-dimensional-ahmed-bodies" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/17810.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">599</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1630</span> Fractional Order Sallen-Key Filters</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Soltan">Ahmed Soltan</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20G.%20Radwan"> Ahmed G. Methods: ISO (85 and 170 mg/kg/day) was injected subcutaneously for 2 successive days, respectively. By day 3, electrocardiographic changes were recorded and serum was separated for determination of CK-MB level for confirmation of myocardial damage. Nicorandil (3 mg/kg/day) was then given orally with or without a single i.v. BMDMSC administration. Electrocardiography and echocardiography were recorded 2 weeks after beginning of treatment. Rats were then sacrificed and ventricles were isolated for estimation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-β) contents, caspase-3 activity as well as inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and connexin-43 protein expressions. Moreover, histological analysis of myocardial fibrosis was performed and cryosections were done for estimation of homing of BMDMSC. Results: ISO induced a significant increase in ventricles/body weight ratio, left ventricular end diastolic (LVEDD) and systolic dimensions (LVESD), ST segment and QRS duration. Moreover, myocardial fibrosis as well as VEGF, TNF-α and TGF-β contents were significantly increased. On the other hand, connexin-43 protein expression was significantly decreased, while caspase-3 and iNOS protein expressions were significantly increased. Combined therapy provided additional improvement compared to cell treatment alone towards reducing cardiac hypertrophy, fibrosis and inflammation. Furthermore, combined therapy induced significant increase in angiogenesis and BMDMSC homing and prevented ISO induced changes in iNOS, connexin-43 and caspase-3 protein expressions. Conclusion: Combined nicorandil/BMDMSC treatment was superior to BMDMSC alone towards preventing ISO-induced heart failure in rats. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=fibrosis" title="fibrosis">fibrosis</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=isoproterenol" title=" isoproterenol"> isoproterenol</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=mesenchymal%20stem%20cells" title=" mesenchymal stem cells"> mesenchymal stem cells</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=nicorandil" title=" nicorandil"> nicorandil</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/14919/effect-of-nicorandil-bone-marrow-derived-mesenchymal-stem-cells-and-their-combination-in-isoproterenol-induced-heart-failure-in-rats" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/14919.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">532</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1628</span> Optimization of Scheduling through Altering Layout Using Pro-Model </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zouhair%20Issa%20Ahmed">Zouhair Issa Ahmed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Abdulrasool%20Ahmed"> Ahmed Abdulrasool Ahmed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Falah%20Hassan%20Abdulsada"> Falah Hassan Abdulsada</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This paper presents a layout of a factory using Pro-Model simulation by choosing the best layout that gives the highest productivity and least work in process. This treatment resulted in bandgap narrowing and increased photocurrent density value (3.8 mA/cm²) when this material was employed in water splitting systems. The achieved photocurrent values are among the highest reported ones so far for the fabricated nanoparticles at this low temperature. This might be explained by the increased surface defects of the prepared nanoparticles. It resulted in bandgap narrowing that was further investigated using positron annihilation experiments by measuring positron lifetime and Doppler broadening. Besides, homogeneous spherical TiO₂ nanoparticles were synthesized in large diameter and high surface area and the high percentage of (001) facet by sol-gel method using potassium persulfate (K₂S₂O₈) as an oxidizing agent. The fabricated particles exhibited high exposed surface area, high photoactivity and reduced band gap. Enhanced performance for water splitting applications was displayed by formed TiO₂ nanoparticles. Their morphological and structural properties were studied to optimize their synthesis parameters in an attempt to construct more applicable fuel cells in the industry for hydrogen fuel production. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=positron%20annihilation" title="positron annihilation">positron annihilation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=solar%20energy" title=" solar energy"> solar energy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=TiO2%20nanoparticles" title=" TiO2 nanoparticles"> TiO2 nanoparticles</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=water%20splitting" title=" water splitting"> water splitting</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/124606/advanced-nanostructured-materials-and-their-application-for-solar-fuel" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/124606.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">145</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1626</span> Comparison between Hardy-Cross Method and Water Software to Solve a Pipe Networking Design Problem for a Small Town</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Emad%20Ahmed">Ahmed Emad Ahmed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Zeyad%20Ahmed%20Hussein"> Zeyad Ahmed Hussein</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohamed%20Salama%20Afifi"> Mohamed Salama Afifi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Mohammed%20Eid"> Ahmed Mohammed Eid</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Water has a great importance in life. In order to deliver water from resources to the users, many procedures should be taken by the water engineers. One of the main procedures to deliver water to the community is by designing pressurizer pipe networks for water. The main aim of this work is to calculate the water demand of a small town and then design a simple water network to distribute water resources among the town with the smallest losses. Literature has been mentioned to cover the main point related to water distribution. Moreover, the methodology has introduced two approaches to solve the research problem, one by the iterative method of Hardy-cross and the other by water software Pipe Flow. The results have introduced two main designs to satisfy the same research requirements. Finally, the researchers have concluded that the use of water software provides more abilities and options for water engineers. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=looping%20pipe%20networks" title="looping pipe networks">looping pipe networks</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hardy%20cross%20networks%20accuracy" title=" hardy cross networks accuracy"> hardy cross networks accuracy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=relative%20error%20of%20hardy%20cross%20method" title=" relative error of hardy cross method"> relative error of hardy cross method</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156922/comparison-between-hardy-cross-method-and-water-software-to-solve-a-pipe-networking-design-problem-for-a-small-town" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156922.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">164</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1625</span> Dopamine and Female Sexual Function: A Clinical and Biochemical Study</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Azza%20Gaber%20Antar%20Farag">Azza Gaber Antar Farag</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Eman%20Abd%20El%20Fatah%20Badr"> Eman Abd El Fatah Badr</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Wesam%20Ahmed%20Tawfik%20Hasssan%20Abdel%20Aal"> Wesam Ahmed Tawfik Hasssan Abdel Aal</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mustafa%20Elsayed%20Elshaib"> Mustafa Elsayed Elshaib</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Background: Female Sexual Dysfunction (FSD) represents recurrent and persistent problems that distress women and/or strain their relationships with their partners. Dopamine can affect sexual function and interacts with ovarian hormones in the ventromedial area in the hypothalamus. Objective: To investigate the possible role of dopamine in FSD. Method: This prospective case-control study was carried on 100 women having FSD and 100 healthy volunteer females. They were recruited from the Al-Menoufia governorate. All included women were subjected to the questionnaire to assess their demographic and gynecological data as well as sexual function. They were investigated for serum levels of dopamine, estradiol, progesterone and DHEA hormones. Results: Dopamine serum levels were significantly lower in females having sexual dysfunction (6.68±4.14) than controls (57.97±26.26) (P>0.001). This decreased dopamine level was of a significant positive correlation with the arousal domain and significant negative correlation regarding the pain domain (r=-0.19, p=0.01). Also, estradiol serum levels were significantly lower (P>0.001), but progesterone and DHEA serum levels were significantly higher in the FSD group than controls (P>0.001). There was a significant negative correlation between dopamine and DHEA serum levels (r= -0.45, p <0.001). Conclusions: Decreased dopamine serum levels may have an active role in the pathophysiology of FSD, impacting mainly arousal and pain domains, and its targeting should be considered during FSD management. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=dopamine" title="dopamine">dopamine</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=estradiol" title=" estradiol"> estradiol</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=progesterone" title=" progesterone"> progesterone</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=DHEA" title=" DHEA"> DHEA</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=females%20sexual%20dysfunction" title=" females sexual dysfunction"> females sexual dysfunction</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/143363/dopamine-and-female-sexual-function-a-clinical-and-biochemical-study" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/143363.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">167</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1624</span> Mechanical Properties of a Soil Stabilized With a Portland Cement</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Emad%20Ahmed">Ahmed Emad Ahmed</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mostafa%20El%20Abd"> Mostafa El Abd</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Wakeb"> Ahmed Wakeb</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Moahmmed%20Eissa"> Moahmmed Eissa</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Soil modification and reinforcing aims to increase soil shear strength and stiffness. Materials and Methods: Ahmed Glaucoma Valve (AGV®; New World Medical, Rancho Cucamonga, CA, USA) is a flow restrictive, non-obstructive self-regulating valve system. Preoperative ocular evaluation included direct ophthalmoscopy and measurement of the intraocular pressure (IOP). The implant was examined and primed prior to implantation. The selected site of the valve implantation was the superior quadrant between the superior and lateral rectus muscles. A fornix-based incision was made through the conjunectiva and Tenon’s capsule. A pocket is formed by blunt dissection of Tenon’s capsule from the episclera. The body of the implant was inserted into the pocket with the leading edge of the device around 8-10 mm from the limbus. Results: No post operative complications were detected in the operated eyes except a persistent corneal edema occupied the upper half of the cornea in one case. Hyphaema was very mild and seen only in two cases which resolved quickly two days after surgery. Endoscopical evaluation for the operated eyes revealed a normal ocular fundus with clearly visible optic papilla, tapetum and retinal blood vessels. No evidence of hemorrhage, infection, adhesions or retinal abnormalities was detected. Conclusion: Ahmed glaucoma valve is safe and effective implant for treatment of uveitic glaucoma in dogs. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20valve" title="Ahmed valve">Ahmed valve</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=endoscopy" title=" endoscopy"> endoscopy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=glaucoma" title=" glaucoma"> glaucoma</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=ocular%20fundus" title=" ocular fundus"> ocular fundus</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/37794/the-clinical-use-of-ahmed-valve-implant-as-an-aqueous-shunt-for-control-of-uveitic-glaucoma-in-dogs" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/37794.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">586</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1621</span> Treatment and Conservation of an Antique Stone Stela by Nano Calcium Hydroxide with Nano Silica in Egyptian Museum of Cairo</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Elhussein%20Ahmed%20Elsayed">Elhussein Ahmed Elsayed</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> An ancient limestone stela dating back to the epoch of the middle kingdom and displayed in the exhibition hall of the middle kingdom, it was discovered in Lisht in Giza, registered with No. 3045 and as a result of its display in an inappropriate display as a result of the use of natural lighting in the display, Represented in sunlight through windows opened day and night. The alternation of these daily changes between the temperature degrees of night and day, both daily and seasonally, causes the expansion and contraction of the rocks and then weakens their cohesion, causing fragmentation. This is indeed the current situation of this stela displayed in the hall, in addition to the damage and fading of colors, as well as the use of a high-viscosity restoration material in the consolidation that led to the attraction of dust and dirt and its adhesion to the surface. The color faded as a result of the lack of lighting control inside the exhibition hall, the remnants of the existing colors were blurred as a result of applying a consolidation material with a high viscosity, which led to the attraction of dust and dirt, and then blurring the colors on the inscription. Examinations and analyzes were carried out on the block, and the results of the examination with a polarized microscope showed that it is of primitive limestone, which contains fossils and microorganisms, which helps to damage. The analysis using the Raman device also showed that the high-viscosity material used in restoration in the past is Paralloid B72. The stone stela was consolidated by using two materials; Nano calcium hydroxide with Nano silica in the form of (Core-shell) at a concentration of 10% and it was applied using the brush. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Egyptian%20museum" title="Egyptian museum">Egyptian museum</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=stone%20stela" title=" stone stela"> stone stela</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=treatment" title=" treatment"> treatment</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=nano%20materials" title=" nano materials"> nano materials</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=nano%20silica" title=" nano silica"> nano silica</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/169717/treatment-and-conservation-of-an-antique-stone-stela-by-nano-calcium-hydroxide-with-nano-silica-in-egyptian-museum-of-cairo" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/169717.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">76</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1620</span> In Search of CO₂: Gravity and Magnetic Data for Eor Prospect Generation in Central Libya</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Saheel">Ahmed Saheel</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Milad%20Ahmed%20Elmaradi"> Milad Ahmed Elmaradi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Tim%20Archer"> Tim Archer</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Muammer%20Ahmed%20Aboaesha"> Muammer Ahmed Aboaesha</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdulkhaliq%20Abdulmajid%20Altoubashi"> Abdulkhaliq Abdulmajid Altoubashi</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> Enhanced oil recovery using carbon dioxide (CO₂-EOR) is a method that can increase oil production beyond what is typically achievable using conventional recovery methods by injecting and hence storing, carbon dioxide (CO₂) in the oil reservoir. His father had numerous books on law, grammar, linguistics, logic, and astronomy, moreover, Aliye accepted as the first female novelist in the Turkish literature and the Islamic world. Even if she was better known as a novelist, she also published some works on philosophy, Islam, poetry. In addition, Aliye who was one of the pioneers of the Ottoman women’s movement, also wrote historical works. Her historical works which titled as Tarih-i Osmaninin Bir Devre-i Mühimmesi Kosova Zaferi-Ankara Hezimeti (An Important Era of the Ottoman History: Kosova Victory-Ankara Defeat), and Ahmed Cevdet Paşa ve Zamanı (Ahmed Cevdet Pasha and His Time) have been generally ignored in the literature. However, Aliye’s works in history field are worth being studied in terms of her methodological approach to the Ottoman historiography. On the other hand, written by Ahmed Cevdet Pasha, such as Tarih-i Cevdet (History of Cevdet), Tezâkir (Memoir), Mâruzat (Reports, the events that took place between 1839-1876, 1890), Kısas-ı Enbiya ve Tevârîh-i Hulefa (Retaliation of the Prophets and the History of Calips), Kırım ve Kafkas Tarihçesi (Crimean and Caucasian History) are the most important works in terms of historiography in the 19th century. In contrast to the traditional methodology, Cevdet Pasha brought a new understanding to the Ottoman historiography by making a synthesis between the traditional and modern methods. In this research, the historical works of these two prominent figures of the Ottoman State will be analyzed in terms of their approaches to the Ottoman historiography while evaluating the following questions: to what extent that their use of local and foreign historical sources and their handling of the historical events differ, or if it is possible to talk about a methodological similarities in terms of historiography. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Cevdet%20Pasha" title="Ahmed Cevdet Pasha">Ahmed Cevdet Pasha</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fatma%20Aliye" title=" Fatma Aliye"> Fatma Aliye</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=historiography" title=" historiography"> historiography</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=methodology" title=" methodology"> methodology</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/129590/an-analysis-of-methodological-approaches-of-ahmed-cevdet-and-fatma-aliye-towards-the-ottoman-historiography-in-a-comparative-context" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/129590.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">257</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1617</span> In situ Immobilization of Mercury in a Contaminated Calcareous Soil Using Water Treatment Residual Nanoparticles</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Elsayed%20A.%20Elkhatib">Elsayed A. However, cheap and effective in situ remediation technology is lacking. In this study, the effects of water treatment residuals nanoparticles (nWTR) on mobility, fractionation and speciation of mercury in an arid zone soil from Egypt were evaluated. Water treatment residual nanoparticles with high surface area (129 m 2 g-1) were prepared using Fritsch planetary mono mill. Scanning and transmission electron microscopy revealed that the nanoparticles of WTR nanoparticles are spherical in shape, and single particle sizes are in the range of 45 to 96 nm. The x-ray diffraction (XRD) results ascertained that amorphous iron, aluminum (hydr)oxides and silicon oxide dominating all nWTR, with no apparent crystalline iron–Al (hydr)oxides. Addition of nWTR, greatly increased the Hg sorption capacities of studied soils and greatly reduced the cumulative Hg released from the soils. Application of nWTR at 0.10 and 0.30 % rates reduced the released Hg from the soil by 50 and 85 % respectively. The power function and first order kinetics models well described the desorption process from soils and nWTR amended soils as evidenced by high coefficient of determination (R2) and low SE values. Application of nWTR greatly increased the association of Hg with the residual fraction. Meanwhile, application of nWTR at a rate of 0.3% greatly increased the association of Hg with the residual fraction (>93%) and significantly increased the most stable Hg species (Hg(OH)2 amor) which in turn enhanced Hg immobilization in the studied soils. Fourier transmission infrared spectroscopy analysis indicated the involvement of nWTR in the retention of Hg (II) through OH groups which suggest inner-sphere adsorption of Hg ions to surface functional groups on nWTR. These results demonstrated the feasibility of using a low-cost nWTR as best management practice to immobilize excess Hg in contaminated soils. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=release%20kinetics" title="release kinetics">release kinetics</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Fourier%20transmission%20infrared%20spectroscopy" title=" Fourier transmission infrared spectroscopy"> Fourier transmission infrared spectroscopy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hg%20fractionation" title=" Hg fractionation"> Hg fractionation</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Hg%20species" title=" Hg species "> Hg species </a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/49758/in-situ-immobilization-of-mercury-in-a-contaminated-calcareous-soil-using-water-treatment-residual-nanoparticles" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/49758.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">234</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1616</span> Comparative Study for Power Systems Transient Stability Improvement Using SFCL ,SVC,TCBR </h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Sabir%20Messalti">Sabir Messalti</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Gherbi"> Ahmed Gherbi</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Bouchlaghem"> Ahmed Bouchlaghem </a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This paper presents comparative study for power systems transient stability improvement using three FACTS devices: the SVC(Static Var Compensator), the Thyristor Control Breaking Resistor (TCBR) and superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL)The transient stability is assessed by the criterion of relative rotor angles. Adding a roof fairing has delayed the flow separation and resulted in delaying wake formation, thus improving the pressure in near weak and reducing the wake region. Adding a roof fairing of height and length equal to 1/7H and 1/3L respectively has shown a drag reduction by 9%. These metals have been extensively studied and their effects on human health regularly reviewed by international bodies such as the WHO. Heavy metals have been used by humans for thousands of years. Although several adverse health effects of heavy metals have been known for a long time, exposure to heavy metals continues, and is even increasing in some parts of the world, in particular in less developed countries, though emissions have declined in most developed countries over the last 100 years. A strong relationship between contaminated drinking water with heavy metals from some of the stations of water shopping in Hail, KSA and chronic diseases such as renal failure, liver cirrhosis, and chronic anemia has been identified in this study. These diseases are apparently related to contaminant drinking water with heavy metals such as Pb, Cd, Cu, Mo, Zn, Ni, Mn Co and Cr. Renal failure is related to contaminate drinking water with lead and cadmium, liver cirrhosis to copper and molybdenum, and chronic anemia to copper and cadmium. Recent data indicate that adverse health effects of cadmium exposure may occur at lower exposure levels than previously anticipated, primarily in the form of kidney damage but possibly also bone effects and fractures. The general population is primarily exposed to mercury via drinking water being a major source of methyl mercury exposure, and dental amalgam. During the last century lead, cadmium, zinc, iron and arsenic is mainly via intake of drinking water being the most important source in most populations. Long-term exposure to lead, cadmium, zinc, iron and arsenic in drinking-water is mainly related to primarily in the form of kidney damage. Studies of these diseases suggest that abnormal incidence in specific areas is related to toxic materials in the groundwater and thereby led to the contamination of drinking water in these areas. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=heavy%20metals" title="heavy metals">heavy metals</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=liver%20functions" title=" liver functions"> liver functions</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=kidney%20functions%20and%20chronic%20renal%20failure" title=" kidney functions and chronic renal failure"> kidney functions and chronic renal failure</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=hail" title=" hail"> hail</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=renal" title=" renal"> renal</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=water" title=" water"> water</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/45010/chronic-renal-failure-associated-with-heavy-metal-contamination-of-drinking-water-in-hail-kingdom-of-saudi-arabia" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/45010.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">320</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1611</span> Vehicle to Vehicle Communication: Collision Avoidance Scenarios</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Emad">Ahmed Emad</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Salah"> Ahmed Salah</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Abdelrahman%20Magdy"> Abdelrahman Magdy</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Omar%20Rashid"> Omar Rashid</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Mohammed%20Adel"> Mohammed Adel</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This research paper discusses vehicle-to-vehicle technology as an important application of linear algebra. This communication technology represents an efficient and promising application to help to ensure the safety of the drivers by warning them when a crash possibility is close. The major link that combines our topic with linear algebra is the Laplacian matrix. Some main definitions used in the V2V were illustrated, such as VANET and its characteristics. The V2V technology could be applied in different applications with different traffic scenarios and various ways to warn car drivers. These scenarios were simulated programs such as MATLAB and Python to test how the V2V system would respond to the different scenarios and warn the car drivers exposed to the threat of collisions. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=V2V%20communication" title="V2V communication">V2V communication</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=vehicle%20to%20vehicle%20scenarios" title=" vehicle to vehicle scenarios"> vehicle to vehicle scenarios</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=VANET" title=" VANET"> VANET</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=FCW" title=" FCW"> FCW</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=EEBL" title=" EEBL"> EEBL</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=IMA" title=" IMA"> IMA</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Laplacian%20matrix" title=" Laplacian matrix"> Laplacian matrix</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156914/vehicle-to-vehicle-communication-collision-avoidance-scenarios" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156914.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">163</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1610</span> Artificial Intelligence Approach to Manage Human Resources Information System Process in the Construction Industry</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Ahmed%20Emad%20Ahmed">Ahmed Emad Ahmed</a> </p> <p class="card-text"><strong>Abstract:</strong></p> This paper aims to address the concept of human resources information systems (HRIS) and how to link it to new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) to be implemented in two human resources processes. A literature view has been collected to cover the main points related to HRIS, AI, and BC. A study case has been presented by generating a random HRIS to apply some AI operations to it. Then, an algorithm was applied to the database to complete some human resources processes, including training and performance appraisal, using a pre-trained AI model. After that, outputs and results have been presented and discussed briefly. Finally, a conclusion has been introduced to show the ability of new technologies such as AI and ML to be applied to the human resources management processes. <p class="card-text"><strong>Keywords:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=human%20resources%20new%20technologies" title="human resources new technologies">human resources new technologies</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=HR%20artificial%20intelligence" title=" HR artificial intelligence"> HR artificial intelligence</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=HRIS%20AI%20models" title=" HRIS AI models"> HRIS AI models</a>, <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=construction%20AI%20HRIS" title=" construction AI HRIS"> construction AI HRIS</a> </p> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156921/artificial-intelligence-approach-to-manage-human-resources-information-system-process-in-the-construction-industry" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">Procedia</a> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/156921.pdf" target="_blank" class="btn btn-primary btn-sm">PDF</a> <span class="bg-info text-light px-1 py-1 float-right rounded"> Downloads <span class="badge badge-light">170</span> </span> </div> </div> <div class="card paper-listing mb-3 mt-3"> <h5 class="card-header" style="font-size:.9rem"><span class="badge badge-info">1609</span> Improved FP-Growth Algorithm with Multiple Minimum Supports Using Maximum Constraints</h5> <div class="card-body"> <p class="card-text"><strong>Authors:</strong> <a href="https://publications.waset.org/abstracts/search?q=Elsayeda%20M.%20Elgaml">Elsayeda M. In this paper, we propose an efficient multiple support frequent pattern growth algorithm which we called “MSFP-growth” that enhancing the FP-growth algorithm by making infrequent child node pruning step with multiple minimum support using maximum constrains. The algorithm is implemented, and it is compared with other common algorithms: Apriori-multiple minimum supports using maximum constraints and FP-growth. The experimental results show that the rule mining from the proposed algorithm are interesting and our algorithm achieved better performance than other algorithms without scarifying the accuracy. <p
