προώθηση της συζήτησης για την αστική ασφάλεια και την υιοθέτηση βέλτιστων πρακτικών για την ασφάλεια των δημόσιων χώρων τόσο σε εθνικό όσο και σε ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο. Γιάννης Μώραλης, σε δήλωσή του, τόνισε:</strong> «Ολοκληρώνεται σήμερα το Be Secure – Feel Secure, ένα πρόγραμμα με πολύ σημαντικό «υλικό» αποτέλεσμα. </p><p>Μέσω του προγράμματος προχωρήσαμε στην πλήρη ανακαίνιση<strong> </strong>οκτώ παιδικών χαρών, εξωραΐσαμε πέντε σχολικά κτήρια στην Ε’ Δημοτική Κοινότητα, αγοράσαμε τέσσερα περιπολικά αυτοκίνητα και δύο μοτοσικλέτες, τα οποία δόθηκαν στην Αστυνομική Διεύθυνση Πειραιά  και λειτουργούμε το Τοπικό Συμβούλιο Πρόληψης Παραβατικότητας και τη  Μονάδα Ενημέρωσης Θυμάτων Εγκληματικότητας. </p><p>Πρόκειται για ένα σύγχρονο ευρωπαϊκό πρόγραμμα  και είναι προφανές ότι σε μια πόλη όπως ο Πειραιάς, μια πόλη – λιμάνι  μας απασχολεί το θέμα της αστικής ασφάλειας.    </p><p>Θα ήθελα να συγχαρώ όλους όσοι ενεπλάκησαν. Δημήτρης  Αράπης, σε δήλωσή του, υπογράμμισε:</strong> «Ως Διεύθυνση και ως πολιτικός προϊστάμενος της Διεύθυνσης Αρχιτεκτονικού είμαστε πολύ χαρούμενοι που συμμετείχαμε στο πρόγραμμα Be Secure – Feel Secure και χαιρόμαστε που αυτή τη στιγμή βρισκόμαστε στην «τελετή λήξης» του προγράμματος.</p><p>Γνωρίζουμε ότι η ασφάλεια είναι το «άλφα και το ωμέγα», ειδικά στους κοινόχρηστους και  ανοικτούς χώρους.</p><p>Επιλέξαμε οκτώ παιδικές χαρές στην Ε΄ Δημοτική Κοινότητα, μία κοινότητα η οποία είναι πυκνοκατοικημένη, με ελάχιστους ελεύθερους χώρους και προχωρήσαμε σε παρεμβάσεις, οι οποίες τις έκαναν πιο ασφαλείς για τα παιδιά και τους γονείς. Τοποθετήσαμε νέα δάπεδα, τα οποία αντικατέστησαν τα παλιά, που ήταν φθαρμένα και συντηρήσαμε τα παιχνίδια και τα όργανα. Κάναμε παρεμβάσεις και σε σχολεία, έτσι ώστε να εξωραΐσουμε,  στο πλαίσιο του δυνατού, όλους αυτούς τους χώρους και να αλλάξουμε την εικόνα του Πειραιά μας. Η προσπάθεια των εργασιών μας επικεντρώθηκε στην ενίσχυση της αστικής ασφάλειας στην πόλη του Πειραιά και στηρίχθηκε στη σύνδεση τριών πυλώνων: Διακυβέρνησης, Χωρικό-κοινωνικών παρεμβάσεων και Ψηφιακών Εργαλείων. Χριστίνα Ζαραφωνίτου  δήλωσε:</strong> «Είμαστε στην ευχάριστη θέση να ολοκληρώνουμε έναν κύκλο ενός σημαντικού και μεγαλεπήβολου προγράμματος όπως το BeSecure-FeelSecure που στέφθηκε με επιτυχία. Θα ήθελα να ευχαριστήσω τον Δήμαρχο Πειραιά κ.
