left;">L’objectif de ce colloque est de rendre hommage aux trois professeurs, Katia de Queirós Mattoso, Luis Felipe de Alencastro et Laura de Mello e Souza, qui ont successivement occupé la chaire d’histoire du Brésil (XVI<sup>e</sup>-XIX<sup>e</sup> siècle), créée à la Sorbonne au Centre de recherches sur la civilisation de l’Europe moderne, devenu le Centre Roland Mousnier au milieu des années 1980. De fait, ce <em>topos</em> nous incite à adopter une posture paradoxale, à rebours de celle qui paraît acquise chez les « thésards » : tourner le dos aux chefs-d’&oelig;uvre incontestés, de manière à provoquer une « modification sensible de notre rapport à l’Art ». Les femmes dans les mondes ruraux en France aux XIXe et XXe si猫cles</a></p> <p class="subtitle"></p> <div class="summary"> <p style="text-align: left;">Ce colloque souhaite aborder une thématique peu présente dans les travaux des historiens et historiennes : les situations et expériences des femmes dans les mondes ruraux en France à l’époque contemporaine (XIX<sup>e</sup>-XX<sup>e</sup> siècles). Il s’agit de nourrir de façon plus soutenue le dialogue entre histoire rurale et histoire des femmes et du genre, d’éclairer de façon renouvelée la place des femmes dans les campagnes, sans les réduire à leur rôle à la ferme.
