alt="" /></p> <p><img src="https://www.ece.ntua.gr/uploads/news/MZKD1MfQ/diplomas_students.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>On the 9th of October 2024, a special ceremony was held to honor the graduates of the year 2023 of the master's program "<a href="https://dsml.ece.ntua.gr/en"><strong>Data Science and Machine Learning (DMSL)</strong></a>", one of the most state-of-the-art master鈥檚 programs in the field.</p> <p>The program is offered by the <a href="https://www.ece.ntua.gr/en"><strong>School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)</strong></a> in collaboration with the <a href="http://semfe.ntua.gr/en/"><strong>School of Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences (SAMPS)</strong></a>, the <a href="https://www.civil.ntua.gr/en/"><strong>School of Civil Engineering</strong></a>, and the <a href="https://www.survey.ntua.gr/en/"><strong>School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering (SRSE)</strong></a> of the <a href="https://www.ntua.gr/en/"><strong>National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)</strong></a>.</p> <p>The ceremony opened with a warm greeting extended to the graduates and their families by the <strong>Vice Rector of NTUA</strong> <a href="http://www.math.ntua.gr/~ppsarr/"><strong>Prof. Panayiotis Psarrakos</strong></a>.</p> <p><a href="https://www.ece.ntua.gr/en/staff/193"><strong>Prof. Emmanouil Varvarigos</strong></a><strong>, Vice Rector of NTUA</strong> and instructor in DSML master鈥檚 program, congratulated the graduates, and commented on the ubiquitous applications of machine learning to all scientific fields and on the recent Nobel prizes in Physics and in Chemistry, which are directly related to Machine Learning and its applications.</p> <p>Extending his congratulations to the graduates of DSML, the <strong>Dean of ECE</strong> <a href="https://www.ece.ntua.gr/en/staff/39"><strong>Prof. Panayiotis Tsanakas</strong></a> highlighted their outstanding talent and qualifications.
