On the contrary, autoimmunity has been a challenge for us towards sustaining a better life. The increment in cases with different autoimmune disorders is alarming and demands urgent attention from the existing research community and medical personnel. The situation is urging the researchers and medical practitioners to come out with a better treatment regime and find remedy.

Aims & Scope

The rising need of proper scientific information resources pertaining to the autoimmune disorders associated conditions allowed us to establish a global scientific, open access discussion platform as Journal of Autoimmune Disorders. This journal is a peer reviewed periodical which considers article in the mode of a research, review, short communication, case study etc. from the eminent and expert authors.

Under the journal scope, all aspect of autoimmune disorders associated research and scientific information will be considered.

Studies on several diseases which are in connection to certain autoimmune condition, such as Addison's disease, Celiac disease - sprue (gluten-sensitive enteropathy), Dermatomyositis, Graves' disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Multiple sclerosis, Myasthenia gravis, Pernicious anemia, Reactive arthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren syndrome, Systemic lupus erythematosus, Type I diabetes will be considered for publication.

Although several important topics are mentioned, yet the journal will not be limiting the consideration for publication, other allied topics will be considered if found suitable under the wide scope of the journal.

Authors are encouraged to share their ideas and valuable research outcomes through this platform and provide the global readers updated and most important information in this regard.

The journal is using Editor Manager System for well-ordered submission to publication functioning for the authors, reviewers and editors.

Multiple sclerosis

Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease where immune system attacks the myelin sheath which covers the brain nerves. Multiple sclerosis results in disrupt communication in between brain and the rest of the body. Brain nerves start deteriorating and cause an irreversible damage. Affected person loses the ability to walk independently, loss of vision, etc. are the effects of MS.

Related Journals of Multiple sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis, Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders, Autoimmune Diseases, Journal of Autoimmune Diseases and Rheumatology, Journal of Autoimmunity

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid Arthritis is a chronic, systemic inflammatory disorder that primarily affects joints. It may result in deformed and painful joints, which can lead to loss of function. The disease may also have signs and symptoms in organs other than joints. This creates inflammation that causes the tissue that lines the inside of joints (the synovium) to thicken, resulting in swelling and pain in and around the joints. The synovium makes a fluid that lubricates joints and helps them move smoothly.

Type I diabetes

The more extreme form of diabetes is type 1, or insulin-dependent diabetes. Its symptoms include: Postural Tachycardia Syndrome; gastrointestinal dysmotility; anhidrosis; bladder dysfunction; Small fiber peripheral neuropathy

Sjogren’s syndrome

It is a chronic autoimmune disease where body's white blood cells demolish the exocrine glands, precisely the salivary and lacrimal glands, that produce saliva and tears, appropriately. Sjögren’s syndrome is mostly categorized as either 'primary' or 'secondary'. Primary Sjögren’s syndrome happens by itself and secondary Sjogren’s syndrome happens when another connective tissue disease is present.

Immunological Diseases

Immunological diseases occur due to increase susceptibility to infections. Sign and symptoms of immunological diseases are: Frequent and recurrent pneumonia, sinus infections, ear infections, meningitis or skin infections; Infection of lower organs; Blood disorders such as low platelets count; Digestive problems such as cramping; loss of appetite; Delayed development and growth.

Rare Autoimmune Diseases

Autoimmune diseases affect any part of the body like heart, brain, nerves, muscles, skin, eyes, joints, lungs, kidneys, glands, the digestive tract and the blood vessels.
