None of the parts are made in Pakistan. All fabrication machinery is brought from abroad. All R&D is done from outside the country. We have become the dumping ground for small, cheap, low quality , high carbon and other harmful gases emission cars. We have to curb this with better standard cars, less cars and cars that run on electricity. The car companies are only setting up assembly plants in Pakistan and all the parts are imported from foreign sources which makes Pakistani assembled cars more expensive. We can't export these cars because either the models being assembled are outdated or discontinued in other countries. Pak Suzuki models are the best example of the outdated technology of 20 years ago and the cars lack safety features.In the last 50-60 years, Suzuki has not made any efforts to make parts in Pakistan and the govt has not forced the company to make the parts locally. Millions of people are unemployed in Pakistan while we are supporting the workers overseas. The Japanese car companies were doing exactly the same in USA few years ago until the US govt stepped in and forced them to manufacture parts locally or face stiff import duties. In couple of years, they started manufacturing parts locally. The problem is Pakistani leadership is incompetent, corrupt and sleeping on the job.The trade deficit of the country is widening every month by the billions of dollars but the finance minister is too busy in defending the PM in Panama case and don,t have the time to look at the financial condition of the country. Is he paid by the govt to defend NS.We are piling up loans from foreign banks at high interest rates without considering how the country is going to pay it back.They don,t care about the unemployed and the poor. Most of their time is spent on the strategy to win the next election, overseas trips and spreading lies on opposition leaders.Thousands of police officials are hired to provide security to their extended family members at the expense of the poor people.Why the country is has to pay for the security of extended family members?They can pay for their own security?
