This includes high net worth matrimonial divorces and separation, high-conflict parenting litigation, child support, spousal support and emergency protection orders. His experience also consists of child welfare litigation.</p><p>He enjoys working on complex files that require an objective analysis of the facts. He enjoys drafting complex prenuptial, cohabitational and separation agreements. His knowledge of family law is extensive given he consistently reads reported decisions released by The Alberta Court of Appeal, The Court of Kings Bench of Alberta, and Provincial Court of Alberta.</p><p>Gary strives to provide his clients with meaningful and honest advice. He prioritizes giving clients legal advice alongside a cost benefit analysis. Gary believes it is the lawyer’s job to provide the roadmap and direction, while the client decides what route to take. He prioritizes efficient resolutions for individuals and couples who are facing a difficult time in their lives. He is aware that each case is different and should be analyzed on its own merit. Gary’s practice of family law is to provide efficient legal services and guide his clients through every step of their matter.</p><p>Before law school, Gary attended the University of Calgary where he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Energy Economics with a minor in Business. He then attended law school at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. During law school, Gary was a Semi-Finalist in the annual Leicester University Law Society Mooting Competition. He also ranked highly in the 2017 Norton Rose Fulbright Contract Law Competition.</p><p>Gary is an effective litigator who aims to achieve the best outcome for his clients. He has represented clients in both Alberta Provincial Court and the Court of Queen’s Bench. When he is not in the office, you can find Gary in the boxing gym. He has also coached boxing at 9Round kickboxing studio. Gary is an avid traveler who enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
