I shall take off his head!&#8221; <A name="11"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_samuel/16-10.htm#aramaic"><b>10</b></a></span>King David said to him: &#8220;What business do I have with you sons of Tsuriya? Let him insult. LORD JEHOVAH has said to him: &#8220;Insult David!&#8221;, but who says to me, &#8220;Why does he think of me thus?" <A name="12"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_samuel/16-11.htm#aramaic"><b>11</b></a></span>David said to Abishi and to all his Servants: &#8220;Behold, my son who came out from my loins seeks to take my life, and also, behold, the sons of my right hand. Let him insult! THE LORD JEHOVAH has spoken to him. <A name="13"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_samuel/16-12.htm#aramaic"><b>12</b></a></span>Now LORD JEHOVAH shall see my submission, and he shall pay me good in exchange for the abuses of today&#8221; <A name="14"></a><span class="reftext"><a href="/parallel/2_samuel/16-13.htm#aramaic"><b>13</b></a></span>And David was going, and his Servants, on the road, and Shemi was going on the side of the mountain opposite him.
