In the 1940s it served as a <a href="/wiki/Nurses" class="mw-redirect" title="Nurses">nurses</a> home for the <a href="/wiki/Wrexham_and_East_Denbighshire_War_Memorial_Hospital" title="Wrexham and East Denbighshire War Memorial Hospital">Wrexham and East Denbighshire War Memorial Hospital</a>.
