<span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[b]</a></span>and someone said<MG3004>, “Get<MG1453> up<MG1453> and measure<MG3354> the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[c]</a></span>temple<MG3485> of God<MG2316> and the altar<MG2379>, and those<MG3588> who worship<MG4352> in it. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-2.htm"><b>2</b></a></span><span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[d]</a></span>Leave<MG1544b> out<MG1544b> the courtyard<MG833> which is outside<MG1855> the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[e]</a></span>temple<MG3485> and do not measure<MG3354> it, because<MG3754> it has been given<MG1325> to the nations<MG1484>; and they will trample<MG3961> the holy<MG40> city<MG4172> for forty-two<MG5065b, 1417> months<MG3376>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-3.htm"><b>3</b></a></span>And I will grant<MG1325> <i>authority</i> to my two<MG1417> witnesses<MG3144>, and they will prophesy<MG4395> for 1,260<MG5507, 1250, 1835> days<MG2250>, clothed<MG4016> in sackcloth<MG4526>.” <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-4.htm"><b>4</b></a></span>These<MG3778> are the two<MG1417> olive<MG1636> trees<MG1636> and the two<MG1417> lampstands<MG3087> that stand<MG2476> before<MG1799> the Lord<MG2962> of the earth<MG1093>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-5.htm"><b>5</b></a></span>And if<MG1487> anyone<MG5100> wants<MG2309> to harm<MG91> them, fire<MG4442> flows<MG1607> out<MG1607> of their mouth<MG4750> and devours<MG2719> their enemies<MG2190>; and <i>so</i> if<MG1487> anyone<MG5100> wants<MG2309> to harm<MG91> them, he must<MG1163> be killed<MG615> in<MG3779> this<MG3779> way<MG3779>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-6.htm"><b>6</b></a></span>These<MG3778> have<MG2192> the power<MG1849> to shut<MG2808> up<MG2808> the sky<MG3772>, so<MG2443> that<MG2443> rain<MG5205> will not fall<MG1026> during the days<MG2250> of their prophesying<MG4394>; and they have<MG2192> power<MG1849> over<MG1909> the waters<MG5204> to turn<MG4762> them into blood<MG129>, and to strike<MG3960> the earth<MG1093> with every<MG3956> plague<MG4127>, as often<MG3740> as they desire<MG2309>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-7.htm"><b>7</b></a></span>When<MG3752> they have finished<MG5055> their testimony<MG3141>, the beast<MG2342> that comes<MG305> up<MG305> out of the abyss<MG12> will make<MG4160> war<MG4171> with them, and overcome<MG3528> them and kill<MG615> them. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-8.htm"><b>8</b></a></span>And their dead<MG4430> bodies<MG4430> <i>will lie</i> on the street<MG4116> of the great<MG3173> city<MG4172> which<MG3748> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[f]</a></span>spiritually<MG4153> is called<MG2564> Sodom<MG4670> and Egypt<MG125>, where<MG3699> also<MG2532> their Lord<MG2962> was crucified<MG4717>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-9.htm"><b>9</b></a></span>Those from the peoples<MG2992>, tribes<MG5443>, languages<MG1100>, and nations<MG1484> <i>will</i> look<MG991> at their dead<MG4430> <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[g]</a></span>bodies<MG4430> for three<MG5140> and a half<MG2255> days<MG2250>, and <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[h]</a></span>will not allow<MG863> their dead<MG4430> bodies<MG4430> to be laid<MG5087> in a tomb<MG3418>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-10.htm"><b>10</b></a></span>And those<MG3588> who live<MG2730> on the earth<MG1093> <i>will</i> rejoice<MG5463> over<MG1909> them and celebrate<MG2165>; and they will send<MG3992> gifts<MG1435> to one<MG240> another<MG240>, because<MG3754> these<MG3778> two<MG1417> prophets<MG4396> tormented<MG928> those<MG3588> who live<MG2730> on the earth<MG1093>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-11.htm"><b>11</b></a></span>And after<MG3326> the three<MG5140> and a half<MG2255> days<MG2250>, the breath<MG4151> of life<MG2222> from God<MG2316> came<MG1525> into them, and they stood<MG2476> on their feet<MG4228>; and great<MG3173> fear<MG5401> fell<MG1968> upon those<MG3588> who were watching<MG2334> them. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-12.htm"><b>12</b></a></span>And they heard<MG191> a loud<MG3173> voice<MG5456> from heaven<MG3772> saying<MG3004> to them, “Come<MG305> up<MG305> here<MG5602>.” And they went<MG305> up<MG305> into heaven<MG3772> in the cloud<MG3507>, and their enemies<MG2190> watched<MG2334> them. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-13.htm"><b>13</b></a></span>And <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[i]</a></span>at that time<MG5610> there was a great<MG3173> earthquake<MG4578>, and a tenth<MG1182> of the city<MG4172> fell<MG4098>; <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[j]</a></span>seven<MG2033> thousand<MG5505> people<MG3686, 444> were killed<MG615> in the earthquake<MG4578>, and the rest<MG3062> were terrified<MG1719> and gave<MG1325> glory<MG1391> to the God<MG2316> of heaven<MG3772>. <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-14.htm"><b>14</b></a></span>The second<MG1208> woe<MG3759> has passed<MG565>; behold<MG2400>, the third<MG5154> woe<MG3759> is coming<MG2064> quickly<MG5035>. <p class="hdg">The Seventh Trumpet: Christ’s Reign Foreseen</p><p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-15.htm"><b>15</b></a></span>Then<MG2532> the seventh<MG1442> angel<MG32a> sounded<MG4537>; and there were loud<MG3173> voices<MG5456> in heaven<MG3772>, saying<MG3004>, <p class="paragraph"> “The kingdom<MG932> of the world<MG2889> has become<MG1096> <i>the kingdom</i> of our Lord<MG2962> and of His <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[k]</a></span>Christ<MG5547>; and He will reign<MG936> forever<MG165> and ever<MG165>.” <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-16.htm"><b>16</b></a></span>And the twenty-four<MG1501, 5064> elders<MG4245>, who sit<MG2521> on their thrones<MG2362> before<MG1799> God<MG2316>, fell<MG4098> on their faces<MG4383> and worshiped<MG4352> God<MG2316>, <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-17.htm"><b>17</b></a></span>saying<MG3004>, <p class="paragraph"> “We give<MG2168> You thanks<MG2168>, Lord<MG2962> God<MG2316>, the Almighty<MG3841>, the One who is and who was, because<MG3754> You have taken<MG2983> Your great<MG3173> power<MG1411> and have begun to reign<MG936>. <span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-18.htm"><b>18</b></a></span>And the nations<MG1484> were<MG3710> enraged<MG3710>, and Your wrath<MG3709> came<MG2064>, and the time<MG2540> <i>came</i> for the dead<MG3498> to be judged<MG2919>, and <i>the time</i> to <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[l]</a></span>reward<MG3408> Your bond-servants<MG1401> the prophets<MG4396> and the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[m]</a></span>saints<MG40> and those<MG3588> who fear<MG5399> Your name<MG3686>, the small<MG3398> and the great<MG3173>, and to destroy<MG1311> those<MG3588> who destroy<MG1311> the earth<MG1093>.” <p class="paragraph"><span class="reftext"><a href="/revelation/11-19.htm"><b>19</b></a></span>And the <span class="fn"><a href="#fn">[n]</a></span>temple<MG3485> of God<MG2316> which is in heaven<MG3772> was opened<MG455>;
