<h1 class="title">Severe Weather Plan</h1> <div class="editor clearfix"> <p>Because we do not have one indoor facility that is large enough to hold all of our graduates and guests, we will hold the University Commencement ceremony outside if at all possible.</p> <p>Please be aware that if there is just a little rain or periodic showers, the ceremony will likely remain outside. Therefore, please plan ahead and carry an umbrella, wear sensible shoes, and bring a nice sense of humor.</p> <p>If the University Commencement is moved inside, graduates and guests entering the campus after 8 a.m. will be informed at the entrance. Also, we will periodically run an announcement from the sound system on Edwards Parade. After 8 a.m., you may call the University at 800-280-7669 for a recorded announcement or check Fordham’s website at fordham.edu.</p> <p>If a decision is made to conduct all ceremonies indoors, graduates and their guests should report to the following severe weather locations:</p> <p><strong>Bachelor Candidates Severe Weather Locations:</strong></p> <p><strong>Fordham College at Rose Hill</strong><br/>Guests enter Lombardi Fieldhouse through the side doors along the roadway between McGinley Center and Lombardi Fieldhouse; graduates assemble at the upper-level landing by the Security desk entrance of Lombardi.</p> <p><strong>Gabelli School of Business (bachelor's candidates)</strong><br/>Guests report to the Martyrs’ Lawn Tent; graduates report to the first floor of Salice and Conley Halls for lineup.</p> <p><strong>Fordham College at Lincoln Center</strong><br/>Guests report to the Rose Hill Gymnasium; graduates report to the area under the football bleachers for lineup.</p> <p><strong>Fordham School of Professional and Continuing Studies</strong><br/>Guests report to the Campus Center Lounge in McGinley Center; graduates assemble in the Rose Hill Commons (Rooms 234 and 235).</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Master’s and Doctoral Candidates Severe Weather Locations:</strong></p> <p><strong>Graduate School of Arts and Sciences</strong><br/>Guests report to the University Church; graduates assemble in the basement of the Church.</p> <p><strong>Graduate School of Education</strong><br/>Guests report to the Leonard Theatre of Fordham Preparatory School; graduates assemble in the School cafeteria.</p> <p><strong>Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education</strong><br/>Guests report to the Keating First Auditorium in Keating Hall; graduates assemble in the hallways outside the auditorium.</p> <p><strong>Gabelli School of Business (master's candidates)</strong>, <strong>Graduates School of Social Service</strong> and <strong>School of Law</strong><br/>Guests report to the Keating Third Auditorium in Keating Hall; graduates assemble in the hallways outside the auditorium.</p> <p>The University Commencement ceremony address and honorary degree presentations will be videocast to the locations listed above after the graduates process in to their severe weather locations. Following the University Commencement ceremony, graduates from FCRH, FCLC, GSB, GSAS, GED, GRE and PCS will remain at the locations above for their diploma ceremonies.
