<h2>Why to get a PhD at BME Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics?</h2> <ul> <li>Our university, founded in 1782, has been the top higher education institution of Hungary and it also has relations with the industry, we have many research collaborations with companies</li> </ul> <h2>Our Doctoral Schools</h2> <p>Out of the 355 teaching and research staff of the Faculty, 220 have PhD degrees and 35 have been awarded the title of the Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.聽At the Faculty, approx. 880 scientific publications are produced and 4,150 independent citations are School of Electrical Engineering<br /></a>The PhD Program in Electrical Engineering is designed to pursue research in the areas of embedded systems, robotics, control, telecommunication systems, research including cutting edge mathematics, physics, networking and algorithms. There are at least 20-30 research topics announced each year by the supervisors.
