from its first invention in 1908 by Japanese biochemist Kikunae Ikeda, who was trying to isolate and duplicate the savory taste of kombu, an edible seaweed used as a base for many Japanese soups. From 2016, most MSG worldwide is produced by bacterial fermentation in a process similar to making vinegar or yogurt. Sodium is added later, for neutralization. During fermentation, Corynebacterium species, cultured with ammonia and carbohydrates from sugar beets, sugarcane, tapioca (cassava tuber) or molasses, excrete amino acids into a culture broth from which L-glutamate is isolated. In this process, Monosodium Glutamate companies buy cassava [2] pulps from farmers that contain a lot of sand and impurities. In order to increase the productivity with lowest expense, the filtration of sand and solid impurities’ is performed by separation cyclone. The survey was done at the centers of garlic production area in Central Java, Indonesia. Soil abiotic factors such as temperature, pH, and C-Organic were measured in each location of sampling. Nematodes were analyzed using incubation and white head tray technique modification. Correlation and regression were used to determine the effect of abiotic factors. The results showed that the five locations with different elevations were positive for <i>Ditylenchus dipsaci </i>distribution. These nematodes were found in various elevation with different populations in the range of 8.00-16.67 nematodes per 100 g of soil and 14.34 to 26.67 nematodes per 2 g of bulb. The highest density of the nematode population both in bulb and soil was in Tegal at elevation <1000 m a.s.l. while the lowest nematode population both in soil and root were found in Temanggung at an elevation of 1000-1200 m a.s.l. Abiotic factors, such as temperature has a positive correlation with <i>D.dipsaci</i> nematode populations in bulb and soil, while pH has a negative correlation with nematode populations. Costa </div> </div> <div id="abstractTextBlock495176" class="volume-info volume-info-text volume-info-description"> Abstract: This paper presents a three-dimensional numerical study to evaluate the variations in stresses in the soil mass surrounding a carbon steel pipe class API 5L X60 submitted to uplift due to ground elevation. Analyses were carried out for soil relative density, pipe stiffness and surficial surcharge loading. Results have shown that stress variations due to uplift are lower for looser backfill soils and flexible pipes. In this paper, a new proposal for a fire detection index is presented that combines between meteorological and topographic parameters. The parameters of slope, aspect and elevation are introduced and their impact on fire behavior (ignition, spread & intensity) is described. The method of calculation of the new index is based on simple logic gates. A comparison is then held between the proposed index and seven commonly used existing indices. The accuracy percentages are calculated which reveals the distinction of the new combination over the present models, taking the Lebanese data into study. In this paper, in accordance with the manufacturing linearis steel trussed beam bridge and steel truss beam linearis changing during building process, the calculation of temporary pier elevation was studied systematically, and practical function was deduced. Then, the method was applied to a long-span steel trussed arch bridge. The obtained result by in-situ assembly and dismantling presents that: 50 mm preserved method is considered in this paper, which can provide convenience for removing the temporary pier. At the same time, the rationality and reliability of the presented approach are verified.
