As it is with the printers and binders at the moment, we have had some time to catch up with the Palaeoworks crew and also had a chance to meet <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://www.digitalstar.net/microecologies/">Pierre Proske</a>, who is currently artist in residence with the <a target="_blank" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://rspas.anu.edu.au/anh/">Department of Archaeology & Natural History</a>. It has been really interesting having the chance to talk with Pierre about his experiences and perspectives on, what for all intensive purposes, is the same residency which we completed some months ago. I think it must also be interesting for the Palaeoworks group to have multiple artists working with them, as each artist brings with them their own particular interpretation of their work. </p> </div> <p class="postmetadata">Posted in <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://thecontextualvillains.org/synapse/?cat=1" title="View all posts in General" rel="category tag">General</a> | <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://thecontextualvillains.org/synapse/?p=175#respond" title="Comment on Take Two">No Comments »</a></p> </div> <div class="post" id="post-172"> <h2><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://thecontextualvillains.org/synapse/?p=172" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to Talk">Talk</a></h2> <small>October 3rd, 2006 by Paul </small> <div class="entry"> <p>We will be giving a presentation this Friday (6th October) at the <a target="_blank" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://www.anu.edu.au/newmedia/">Centre for New Media Arts </a>at the<a target="_blank" href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://www.anu.edu.au/"> Australian National University.聽 </a>We will be discussing our invovlement in the Synapse residency project and generally our practice over the last couple of years.聽 Oh yes, the presentation will be at 3pm.<br/> <img alt="04.jpg" id="image171" src="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044im_/http://thecontextualvillains.org/synapse/wp-content/uploads/04.jpg"/><img src="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044im_/file:///Users/Trouble/Desktop/For%20Web/Small/04.jpg"/> </p> </div> <p class="postmetadata">Posted in <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://thecontextualvillains.org/synapse/?cat=2" title="View all posts in Research" rel="category tag">Research</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://thecontextualvillains.org/synapse/?cat=4" title="View all posts in Images" rel="category tag">Images</a>, <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://thecontextualvillains.org/synapse/?cat=7" title="View all posts in Documentation" rel="category tag">Documentation</a> | <a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://thecontextualvillains.org/synapse/?p=172#respond" title="Comment on Talk">No Comments »</a></p> </div> <div class="navigation"> <div class="alignleft"><a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://thecontextualvillains.org/synapse/index.php?paged=2">« Previous Entries</a></div> <div class="alignright"></div> </div> </div> <div id="sidebar"> <ul> <li> <form method="get" id="searchform" action="https://web.archive.org/web/20090130201044/http://thecontextualvillains.org/synapse/"> <div><input type="text" value="" name="s" id="s"/> <input type="submit" id="searchsubmit" value="Search"/> </div> </form> </li> <!-- Author information is disabled per default.
